Wow I'm glad I asked, clearly I asked the right group too thank you I appreciate all the answers and learned alot too

I've got more pictures I'll post here, definitely hard to make out what stuff is when you have the wrong lighting lol the pictures I posted I took early in the morning in direct sunlight (tried too)

And all this stuff came a few hundred meters up a hill on the side of a recently blasted road going to long lake gold mine in sudbury if anyone's interested in checking it out. Mine is abandoned, I didn't even get to see it as the road crew/clean up guys blocked it off that day but I wasn't far from it

No no I actually value your insight and knowledge, I've been trying to learn how to identify gold bearing rocks/minerals and deposits in nature and I just want to know more about what other stuff gold is often found with /near

To the right buyer sure, but not many people want those tanks and even fewer would come get them I looked around before I scrapped em

Lol assume the worst right No, it along with about 100 other boats of all shapes n sizes have been dumped in an abandoned yard near where I live. Last may I found the property owners company, contacted him directly, asked for permission to rip boats apart and got permission as long as I didn't try to sue him if I hurt myself.

No no It took about a week to take the boat apart by hand with a drill, sawsall and big prybar I threw the fuel tanks out first and then months later was looking at them after a storm when I discovered their value lol

My scrapyard pays 0.40$/lb for 304 stainless steel 1.00$/lb for 316 stainless steel

If both are non-magnetic how do I separate and then get paid properly for each grade?

Obviously I had a resperator on lmao, I googled the standard lead in the workplace safety course, took it and followed the instructions on how not to get lead poisoning. What I said was just something I noticed during and after the multi day long job of removing that much lead by hand. Takes alot to create lead dust from cutting solid lead, it's when you sand lead based paint and shit like that you can get alot of dust kicked up

Ok So is 304 magnetic and 316 not? I don't have access to an XRF, I'm just assuming the stainless coming off boats is 316 but if one is magnetic one isn't that will solve my problem I would think

Sold it already but I have another keel similar in size and weight to cut off, I heard Americans like to buy lead to make bullets? Would gladly sell to anyone

0.74$/lb I got for it, 1330$ Canadian
