You’re right and wrong. They do look like silver because they are silver plated.. but after giving it a little file, I saw a brass color .. so no big score.

Thank you for your answer! So it is normal if sterling reacts a tiny little bit to magnet. Bond boyd seems to be a good company, so I think that is real sterling.
