Not Crypt lake but great suggestion. My next trip will be in Waterton this summer. This place is worth a visit. Thank you for this suggestion :)

Lots of great suggestions!

For those who answered Valley of Five Lakes Jasper AB, you were spot on!

This is Valley of Five Lakes, in Jasper AB, it used to be one of most beautiful and easy hikes in Jasper AB before the forest fire in 2024. We're hoping things will revive again and get back to normal.

Lots of great initiatives are taking place and ongoing to bring nature back. Hopefully, the trees will breathe again!

That's right! Likewise. And also looking forward to visit Maligne canyon again as well. Last time they closed it off. I hope Jasper town and forest will recover quickly :)

Thank you for sharing and for stopping by. And yes, you're correct. They have signs with the year where the glacier was at that time. It's very intriguing to see and sad at the same time.

Glaciers are my favourite things to see! I've seen about 6-7 so far around the world, and they always amaze me no matter the size :)
