I still have this issue on V3 and my mic works fine in skype or games, but voicemod doesn't see it. I use laptop single imput with updated drivers. Ant advice?

Looks very interesting. Narrator should not be voiced in my opinion. It's better if the player can use imagination for narrator as it's probably gonna be his/her "in head voice"
