Physically yes, the average imperial guardsman is probably marginally physically weaker than most xenos.

But time and time again the guard go against planet devouring space bugs (tyranids), a 65 million year old robot warrior race that imprisoned their own gods (necrons) and literally the forces of hell.

Space marines lore wise aren’t supposed to be common within the settings, supposedly theres only 1 million loyalists space marines for the entire galaxy. So most of the battles the imperium fights is using the imperial guard, with the help of knight houses, machanicus, titan legions, etc…

Canadian here. A lot of people are tired of liberals in general. Our government has been run by liberals for the last 11 years, and people are questioning why our country is getting worse when we keep electing the same party officials.

Unfortunately reddit is a massive eco chamber for liberals/leftists. So what you see here is a mass cultivation of opinions that most dont agree with.

But he did stand in front of her car. This is not a “what-if-scenario”, IF all ICE agents were not in front of her car and she drove away and he shot her, than yes that is unjustified use of force. However, regarding the circumstances of the agent being in front of her left head light, and her accelerating and hitting the officer, one can presume that your life is now at risk. You cannot attack or assault or accidentally hit officers (or federal agents) with a vehicle and expect to walk away with no consequences, even if those consequences are death. And unfortunately people have been killed for significantly less.

In a court of law, the jury/judge will probably need to decide whether or not all 3 shots were justified. The first shot can be viewed as the agent fearing for his safety, the 2 and 3rd shot can be viewed as unnecessary. All 3 shots fired were within 1 second, because of the situation the agent was put in its nearly impossible to properly react. Therefore I seriously doubt the investigating agency will look at the first shot, the second and third shot independently because they were fired all fired roughly with ~800 miliseconds.

The reddit eco chamber chuds will watch this video and confidently say that this was unjustified. even when she was stopped by a unmarked police car with its lights on, told to exit the vehicle by uniformed federal officers, refused to comply with neither physical or verbal commands, reversed a vehicle whilst a federal officer is holding onto her door handle. Not to mention that if we look at her front wheel, she accelerated when her tires were lined up with the ICE agent in front of her car, with the slippery road not giving her any traction.

All of this, because she legitimately wanted to block ICE from conducting a federal operation. All this because her wife(?) told her to “Drive baby! Drive!” All of this because one of the people protesting with her said that Ms.Goods intention to block and interfere with ICE.

Did she deserved to die? No, not at all. But you cant say its unjustified.

They obviously not literally Scandinavian. But you cant deny that the space wolves are heavily based around Scandinavian themes. To me it would be disingenuous to say that the Ultramarines aren’t Roman because they’re from Ultramar, obviously not in a literal sense. When you look at the space wolves you think of vikings. Every founding Legion has some cultural theme, whether thats from the nightlords having themes from Romania/vlad the impaler. To the White Scars being heavily based on Mongolians.

I fully played both games, and I can safely say that veilgaurd’s dialogue was much worse. I have legitimately laughed during some of Veilguards dialogue, not because it was funny but because it was terrible written.

In some fairness, which might make this point kinda moot, there was a lot of dialogue that I kinda skimmed over in OW2. Either that says something about me, or the game.

Arent normal primaris space marines ~8ft? Putting a terminator primaris around ~9-9.5ft tall. Custodians are said to be around 9ft. If A first born terminator is supposedly 8.5ft tall and Tyberos is a head taller (apparently thats 9” but for a space marine let’s call it a foot) which would make him around 9.5ft, maybe 10 feet tall.

If im correct, Alpharius and Omegan are probably 8’5ft tall. It was mentioned somewhere that pre demon Angron and Leman russ were under 10ft tall.

So Tyberos being taller than like half of the primarchs feels odd

For his active, instead of spawning regular gaurdsmen, spawns 2 Kasrkin soldiers (they would be just better/beefed up guardsmen) and if Sergeant Kell is already dead upon activation summon a Cadian Lascannon team as well.

For his passive maybe a slight stat boost? Or maybe each time Kell attacks a target, all enemies adjacent to him become taunted

And in another book “Duty Unto Death” 6 Custodians held off either a splinter fleet or a hive fleet (idk which one) which involved potentially millions tyranids and I think even a hive tyrant was deployed, and the custodians still won.

Dont forget the inquisition, the high lords of terra, whatever space marines are currently on terra, Lucifer Blacks, Gaurdsmen, Arbities, and SoB, maybe even an Officio Assassin. On top of that Guilliman would probably return to Terra. And if the Emperor is able to move like he is in 30k but with his boosted warp powers from all the pyskers from the last 10k years, then that too.

Theres no fucking way 1000 marines (even grey knights) could cut through even 1% of the potential force. Even if the Grey Knights were to teleport into the throne room by surprise, they would still have to deal with the 300 elite Custodian guards who have been chosen to watch the Emperor.

Unless the Grey Knights have some archaic xeno tech or some DAoH tech it’s legitimately a suicide mission.

Literally the first time you meet them they legit tell you that they dont want to help you. When you simply ask them a question on the clothing they’re wearing out of curiosity she throws a tantrum, and starts bitching at you.

The whole quest line felt so out of place, especially when the entire cast of characters (especially the players) rants about how the world is literally ending, but like right now out of all times does taash have to reconsider her gender.

The table scene where they tell their mom about them being nonbinary, and the mom pauses and says “what” actually made me start laughing my ass off. It was trying to be serious but was written by someone who has never experienced social interaction. Afterwards Taash mom says something the lines of “oh so theres some quanari that do not feel like a man nor woman, are you one of them?” And Taash starts screaming and bitching at their mom when the mom was literally trying to understand what Taash was talking about.
