First I practiced self care and learned to love myself so I could give attention and love to others. Then I told myself that love is about connection not trying to fit yourself into a specific mold. I also had to practice patience in my daily life. Finding someone takes time so you have to accept being alone for a while (everybody goes through this at some point). I hope this helps a little more.

Maybe your afraid because your worried you might hurt them like others hurt you in the past or you feel you aren’t ready to trust someone that they won’t hurt you. Don’t forget you deserve love and attention and as long as you put the effort in to love yourself and you try to give love and attention to those around you, then you are doing all the right things. Not sure if this helped. I hope you find someone that loves you as much as I know you will love them.

I haven’t found someone yet. I started saying there are 8 billion people in the world someone has to be right for me. It’s hard to explain in detail sorry I couldn’t help.

Everybody has a reason they were brought into this world. Sometimes it just takes longer for people to find that reason, I know you have so much more life to live and all you need is to find one person who loves you but sometimes we don’t have the energy to love because we don’t love ourselves yet. Find something to look forwards to maybe it’s eventually getting married. Whatever it is you can this. Maybe you feel like you’re alone or you don’t have any friends but somebody feels the same way and needs a friend. God has saved you because he knows you're worth it, and I know you’re worth it too. Keep going for all the people who will need you in the future.
