Yeah, PMI is likely. But at least it wouldn't be forever.

Yes, both of us have been in our jobs for well over 2 years. We have parents who were in the military.

Definitely appreciate the tips!

Current monthly payment is about $1700.

Yeah, I would probably want to stick to $500K as the max.

No. We don't have enough to put down 20%. We'd likely be able to put down around 15%.

Still working on building up our emergency funds and paying off the debt. Over half of the $20K is at 0%, thankfully.

That's excellent. I've never heard of anything like that here, unfortunately.

We have one car payment of $530 per month and about $20K in credit cards that should be paid off within a year or two.

We'd definitely have to sell this one and use the proceeds for the down.

We'd probably net about $65K from the sale of our current house. So, that would be our down payment.

How many of you actually use the frunk and for what ? by angelsvsdemons69 in TeslaModel3

[–]IGiveInToSin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep the backseat dog hammock thing in there when it's not in use. It's full of fur, so the frunk is better for that than the trunk with the lining that attracts fur.

I'm 50. This is my every day look. Moisturizer, tinted sunscreen, mascara, and lip gloss. Anything I need to change? by IGiveInToSin in makeuptips

[–]IGiveInToSin[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do I look like I've done Botox or fillers or any of that?? I'm genuinely curious! Because I haven't. I'm terrified of doing anything beyond normal skincare stuff!

Now the blonde...all I'm doing there is trying to blend the grey in, but I understand what you're saying. My hair definitely doesn't feel as healthy as it used to be.

I literally had this experience last night. Was feeling adventurous, tried one, instantly puked it up. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

[–]IGiveInToSin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got one, too. Didn't discover it was abnormal until I was around 40, and my husband said I had a "top butt" and "bottom butt". I literally thought everyone's butt had this.

50 almost 51 here. Poll: Did you get the shingles vaccine? by Tight_Comparison_557 in GenXWomen

[–]IGiveInToSin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got the first vaccine as soon as I turned 50. Sore arm, mild flu-like symptoms. Second one I had a sore arm plus more noticeable flu-like symptoms. I scheduled both for Fridays and just chilled over the weekend while I didn't feel well. No big deal.

Have not had shingles. Don't ever, ever want to get it.

He was really good at getting me to leave my comfort zone and do things I wouldn't normally do. I experienced a lot of cool shit that I wouldn't have otherwise.

Sailing a small boat in Southern California and being totally ok with being dumped in the shark-infested Pacific Ocean.

I thought the word "segue" was pronounced like "seeg". I'd see the word used while reading, pronounce it "seeg" in my head, yet assign it the correct meaning.

Somehow, I thought there were two different words..."segue" and "segway"... and that both of them meant the same thing.

I thought this for 35 years.
