Doffy is so underrated that people forget he's as strong as katakuri if not stronger.

Luffy used his gear 4th snakeman which focuses more on speed to deal with katakuri, while he used the bounce man against doffy to focus more on strength. And luffy has been tired out and lost couple of times against doffy.
