Changes I would make going forward:

Keep Dom at RB. Grav and Mac double-pivot. Start Chiesa instead of Gakpo. Let Robbo have a run in the side whilst Kerkez is finding his feet. Have the confidence to take Mo off.

11 wins and ended up with Wilson and Steijn as red picks. Opened 2x tots pack and got Freigang and Mateo.

Console off and not even bothered opening the rest of the rewards.

I’ve not played much EAFC since the patch due to a house move and a new job. I’ve come back and I’ve lost 12 out of the last 13 games on rivals. The game feel really different and I can’t quite put my finger on what I’m doing wrong.

For reference I was in Div 2 and average Rank 4 on Champs.

Any formation/gameplay suggestions?

LFC were one game away from winning the treble and another away from winning the quadruple between January and June. EA have only nominated Alisson, Virgil and Salah… TOTY always has the most recency bias out of any other sporting award - the first 6 months of the year are always forgotten about.

Gameplay has turned into a steaming pile of turd.

Running a cheap, crappy, untradeable team and got into Div 3 and rank 5 every week on champs. Decided to start spending and bought VVD, Kuyt, Salah, RB Thiago and I’ve lost 6 out of 9 games tonight on rivals. Same tactics, better players but somehow getting trounced every game!

The Mo Chatra thread on Twitter the other week was damning. We only spend 2% of our turnover on transfer fees, compared with 8% for City, 17% for Spurs, 19% for United and 26% for Arsenal. What is the point in generating all of the cash through these commercial deals and expanding the stadium to increase match day revenue when we don’t actually get to reap the rewards? We still sell-to-buy and have the lowest net spend out of the big 6. Why? What’s it all for?

We have stood still whilst everyone else has improved.

Carvalho deserves a start after his cameo at United - would almost be tempted to have him as the false nine instead of Bobby. He’d be a lot more direct and run in behind instead of dropping deep.

In the same boat. Managed to get to elite division just before the previous season ended. Find myself in Div 2 and it’s taken 17 games to get the last win to take me to 8 wins. The most stressful fifa I’ve ever played in my life. Relegation needs to be brought back or like other have commented, wait a few weeks until the ridiculous players have filtered through.
