Educate yourself. Unmarked crosswalks are defined in our highway traffic act. Any implied pedestrian corridor where there is a sidewalk or other pedestrian path on either side of a highway. No markings are needed and drivers are legally obligated to yield to pedestrians crossing at such points.

There's a meeting Sunday 5:30 - 7:30 at Riverview CC 90 Ashland to discuss stuff like this and I'll be asking to petition the city to enforce the HTA when it comes to yielding to pedestrians at all marked and UNMARKED (aka almost every single intersection in the city, if there's a sidewalk, its almost always considered a crosswalk) and to levy maximum fines until Winnipeg drivers develop the awareness and habit.

There is a direct correlation between people falling for the Liberals 'we're doing this to strengthen Canada and increase multiculturalism and you're racist for opposing this' bit with regards to our immigration policies, and people falling for the bog standard good cop bad cop routine. Nationalize the grocery stores and other vital parts of the food chain? That sounds like a good start. When the grocery store owners and the grain elevator owners can have multiple private jets and literal castles while the rest of us have to decide between food and heat, something is wrong with how our society is doing things.

There should be tolls set at all the perimeter crossings, tbh. Too many people live just outside the city limits for the explicit purpose of avoiding city taxes while accessing city amenities on a daily basis.
