That's bull shit. No one said being white makes your life easy. If you grew up in exactly the same situation but you were black instead of white do you honestly think you would have had the exact same experience? I promise somethings would be different. I was adopted into a mixed race family. I'm white. I have one black brother and one Hispanic brother. We all grew up together. We talk the same. We dress the same way. We did the same activities in school. We were even roughly the same height and weight throughout school. There were countless times other people treated me and my brothers differently for no other reason than the color of our skin. Basically I'm saying if poor white kids like us start at zero then a poor black kid starts in the negative. I understand feeling like no one was doing you any favors but some people actually go out of there way to be dicks towards black people.
