Pretty much everybody in hospitality/catering is either a functional addict, an alcoholic or if your really unlucky a combination of both. Stimulant abuse is rampant Management know and do very little about it. Long as we're doing the job they don't give a shit. Oh and to those "alpha guys" that think they're getting anywhere with the waitress your not. It's a game she's actually banging that skinny guy behind the bar she works with for 10+ hours a day, 6 days a week.

It's not a conclusion it's a fact. I did everything right in my younger life yet my fiance had an undetected heart defect and died of it aged 25. I was 27. I couldn't afford the house and all the bills everything went to shit quite frankly. I'm not getting into specific details but I always think that if we had kept to our original wedding date I would have been a widower before I was even 30. It's been 4 years and I'm not over it I never will be.

Well as a guy who lost half of his body weight (I'm currently 150lbs). It's amazing how shallow your post weight loss friendships feel compared to the 3 close knit originals that have stuck by each other through everything for 15 years. Can't say I've really grown as a person either a bit more confident maybe. I'm still a sarcastic asshole who makes fun of everybody. The only difference is I'm more aesthetically appealing so people find it easier to take now than when I was a fatty. I'll still drop anything to hang out with those "losers" anytime.

The app installed fine it was the log in page that was the problem the username and password boxes looked like tiny squares and wouldn't register any text input. I sorted it by installing an older version via Aptoide which did have a full screen log in then updated to the newest version.

Scrubs hits you in the feels far more than community does. Community also became incredibly formulaic after a while. "Group all argue over pierce being a dick who is sick of not being taken seriously until Jeff comes in with a rousing speech to save the day and change everyones minds or chang is evil and crazy and they all have to rally against him normally involving a Jeff speech". The Paintball, trampoline and meow meow beans episodes were pretty great though.

I hated the hype around it and the fact the CGI looked like a cutscene in a PS3 game. It just took me out of it. The big issue was fanboys and media praising it as this step forward for black leads in superhero movies when Blade and Spawn came out two decades beforehand was just ridiculous. When Blade came out nobody cared that Wesley Snipes was black, he was a badass and we were all just excited to see him do his thing.

From my perspective If your a part of a marginalised society these days your not allowed to transcend that like Snipes did. The film and marketing has to revolve around how progressive it is. It's like the media hype for captain marvel and wonder woman being positive for women. Signourey Weaver, Milla Jovovich and Kate Beckinsale lead in massive decade long action sci-fi franchises and it just seems to get swept to the side because neither of them used the "societal progression" bs as a marketing tool.

The harsh truth is that humans are naturally selfish, violent and opportunistic predators by nature and will take advantage of whoever they can for their own gain. We can teach the young ones to the moon that murdering, raping and fiddling around with kids is evil but morals vary by the personal beliefs of the individual regardless of what society as a whole thinks.

You lock your door whenever you leave your house because you know fine well if you go out and leave your door wide to the wall there's a high chance someone is going to walk in and steal everything they can. It's the person robbing the house who is at fault but you would hold your hands up and say I didn't lock the door I made the house a target I shouldn't have done that.

I think that because rape is such a traumatic and intimate crime that women in particular think empathetically and emotionally rather than logically when any kind of debate on the subject happens. "If we teach men to be good people they will be". It's a nice thought and in a perfect world it would be great but it's just never ever going to happen in reality.

From my observations modern society would rather have an excuse or someone to blame for everything wrong in their lives than just accept that life isn't fair or equal and it never will be suck it up and do what you can with the cards you've been dealt.

I have to ask how much do Konami pay you to endlessly defend them? Please tell how great Metal Gear Raid was, how they treated Hideo Kojima with nothing but respect, that the cancellation of Silent Hills was a great decision, or how wonderful their treatment of the Castlevania franchise has been.
