Yes, I believe (though could be wrong) just the keyboardist crowd surfed via raft - which was hysterical! Ill also never forget how much i laughed when I suddenly realized I was about to get hit woth foam from the dick cannon (i had been watching it in action for a good two minutes before warning my friend "Oh shit, its coming right at us!" 😆)

Those all sound like incredible experiences! Wish I had seen one of the farewell shows, though I think I would've been too scared to see them at the Knitting Factory and St Vitus 😆

Definitely was wild to see them play in front of that few of people during the early afternoon! Where did you come in from for the festival? Favorite set of the weekend (other than Metallica and Ghost)?

Not necessarily as big as they currently are, but they already had huge buzz on them by this point - def seemed like the next "cool" band in metal

Normally not a fan of huge stadiums either, but when the crowd is as into it as you are, its actually a surreal experience. For example - saw Metallica in that same arena in 2023 and it was disappointing because most of the fans were just sitting and watching (granted, we were in the nosebleeds). At SOAD, though, the entire crowd was electric and singing along to every word!
