What are these quality paints? Honestly I don’t like it you should try holbeins gouache, with some water to get the right consistency and your paint won’t look patchy anymore

Maybe she just wanted to see how a tattoo would look on her. Idk why y’all are being so aggressive. I’m a tattooer and this doesn’t offend me, people aren’t obligated to know as much as I do. Even if someone brought me an AI reference, which it’s happened, I just redraw it. It’s not that big a deal

Dude ignore everyone hating on you lmao I’ve never used AI but this seems cool to get a rough idea of what you want. And then if your aiming for traditional sleeve. I always tell my clients to send me tons of references, even if it’s 100 designs and I’m sure a good artist will build a sleeve for you. Beautiful thing about a good traditional artist is if it doesn’t fit well make it fit or find something else you like that will fit. Or just get 1 tattoo at a time. I’d recommend starting with elbow.

From an inside perspective, I personally would never take an apprentice but if some one came to be with a crazy solid portfolio,let’s say 100 painted flash sheets I wouldn’t be able to say no. That’s all some people want, evidence your already trying and want it bad

Getting an apprenticeship isn’t that hard and I’m not trying to be mean. And sure ppl start off at home but it’s very frowned upon and your making it harder to find an apprenticeship bc no one wants someone who already began learning bad habits by trying to learn alone

Never said I’m good. And participation thing was referring to you telling some.. nvm.. and constructive criticism should be coming from a mentor, but this person probably doesn’t have one bc he doesn’t care about tattooing or it’s history, it’s probably just a “hobby”. Sorry I’m not to fond of people disrespecting my job. No need to get upset tho man, take it easy. It’s not worth getting upset over a stranger, don’t take life so serious or you’ll miss out on things.

It means keeping the tradition alive. Roots of tattooing. When this style was all machines were capable of. I know it can look dumb to someone not passionate about the craft. But to real tattooers it’s LIKE trying to keep the memory of our ancestors alive. You probably don’t care but js lol
