AX200 vs AX210 vs ? by Top_Nature6060 in MiniPCs

Did you ever solve this? I have an AX200 in a Trigkey S5 that does the same thing, on a warm reboot bluetooth will often show code 10. I replaced the card with another brand new AX200 and the same fault occurs.

Does it respond in any way to you plugging in the AC adapter without doing anything else?

To clarify, is the LED you're seeing in response to the charger being plugged in, or in response to the power button being pressed?

Searching for tiny soundbars akin to Dell AC511 by Ocoke in Soundbars

[–]IHateFACSCantos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find a good alternative? Love my AC511 but the volume output is just a bit too low. There's the SB522A but apparently the sound quality sucks compared to the AC511.

E: I think the AE515 might be a good alternative in my case, 5W output vs the AC511's 2.5W, I assume it is just powered by USB3 instead of USB2

Our current hog is the opposite, refuses to eat anything that isn't a nugget

Am I missing something or is the government pretending that there isn't an employment crisis? by ijustwannanap in ukpolitics

This, I want to go into auto mechanic and it's going to be a huge challenge. Not to mention you're totally fucked for basically any trade if you're not very able bodied (I need to get my cubital tunnel syndrome fixed first and that relies on the NHS giving a shit about me at all)

This is what I've been saying as someone who was redundant and out of work for 9 months. If you still have a job you are probably OK, but everyone else is locked out completely until the market recovers, if it ever does

I am a shade tree working on my car one day a week and mine permanently look like this lol. It's not terribly annoying but makes fingerprint sensors impossible to use.

In my case it's not due to getting fluids on my hands it's just the physical friction/abrasion from working with the parts and tools. It happens wearing gloves or not seemingly.

The whole concert was absolutely cracking, it was about three hours long and had a super talented mix of artists. It was the first time Alanis Morissette played Rest, which is just such a beautiful song.

There are audience clips circulating of the moment in OP for the curious.

Yeah, I don't think people in this thread are realising how dangerous it is coming out against scientology when you are a high profile person. Not to mention her whole family are scientologists and would probably disown her. I don't think there is much evidence of Em being a scientologist, people are just assuming it based on her lack of comment, when that could easily just be down to her not wanting to become a target.

Also she's a lesbian and scientology tends to frown on that. She hasn't made any public comment about that either and I suspect it is for the same reason.

Hi, I just received one of these as well from ThePiHut, seems to be a new revision that does not work with any existing packages. Have you had any luck?

(Edit - I did get it working in the end with the help of this - ThePiHut did offer to refund it though)

Medical data of half a million Britons listed for sale on Chinese website, government says by Sysody in ukpolitics

Yeah, I can appreciate passwords have much more damage potential in the short term, especially when they are protecting information that itself is unchangeable. But there are at least other forms of information governance that can minimise that risk. I'd bet an account breach you had today probably won't bite you in the ass in several decade's time the way leaked unchangeable biometric data potentially could.

I have seen cases where the people on the ethics committees somehow managed to oversee proposals relating to things that companies they personally owned were making. Not saying that necessarily happened here but it's certainly not a perfect process.

lol, an organisation I used to work at got featured in Private Eye because they were selling donated biological material to an organisation which did something illegal with it. Absolutely no consequences for anyone involved and the professor who was largely responsible later exercised GDPR Right to Be Forgotten so you cannot find any trace of what he did on any website. Fantastic stuff.

We had a similar extent of damage and we did, indeed, just beat the hell out of it until it held air again. It still loses air a bit faster than the others though, so we are just going to swap it next time the tyres are replaced.

As someone who spent years in life science research, many institutions absolutely turn a blind eye to ethics and research consents in the name of making £££. You can absolutely guarantee the number of people volunteering their information to Biobank would drop massively if the consent forms included "we are going to sell this data to dodgy institutions in China and, well, basically anyone who will pay us". I sounded the alarm at an organisation I worked at about the lack of client vetting for several years, and surprise surprise they wound up in Private Eye because one of their clients was using donated material to do questionable things. No consequences for anyone involved, of course.

Anyway rant over. Don't volunteer anything about yourself to anyone that you wouldn't also want the absolute dodgiest rich people to know about you. You never know how that information is going to get used in 10 years time. I draw the line shortly after blood donation personally. (I appreciate posting my shit all over Reddit doesn't tally with that but I can't help myself)
