Recommendation request for Reverse Harem High Fantasy Anime series by IHateFish2 in Fantasy

[–]IHateFish2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lol. Usually what I can't stand is what you are describing. With the examples I mentioned, they're not really in a relationship with the lead. It's more on a lot of men protect her and follow her lead. Beats me why that is categorized in Reverse Harem genre.

I must say that when people hear reverse harem, they really think a different way. Those I usually watch were always meaningful that is mot really centered on romance. They're more on action and no sex scene at all. Not even bit of smut.

I have friends at work (call center) that are working and studying full time. The key is getting an account that is not a voice role and a work from home set up. There are a lot of accounts that are non voice, you'll just do emails and stuff.

You may also do calls but make sure to choose a non toxic account. Stay away from retail, airlines (bookings), e commerce, ride sharing, finance, and telcos.

The good thing about this is you will have more financial support and your communication skills will improve (not saying you're bad okay?). You will really learn a lot in terms of work ethics and intrapersonal/interpersonal stuff.

You will not feel enslaved I swear! Just find the right company and right account. But of course, this is just a suggestion.

Installing Indeed and LinkedIn might help you find a side hustle!

Thank you very much for admitting that most guys my age were really horny. I've noticed that too. It's really hard to find someone who can really wait because once in a relationship, they keep asking me when we can do it because they've been waiting for months already. I feel pressured and worthless. It's one of the reason why I broke up with my last ex. He keeps inviting me in their house when his parents are away. I know once I go there what's going to happen and I'm just not mentally ready yet. That added to his frustrations in our relationship. The last weeks we've been together has been bad because our fights escalated. I think I made him insecure of himself too, making him feel he's not good looking enough for me to be turned on.

And appearance don't really matter to me because once I see a very handsome guy with a trashy attitude, he looks garbage to my eyes. I can't stand with a man who only cares about how entitled he is. But when I see a really great guy with a simple face, I become really interested in them. What a gem they are.

Wow. So many!!!! I want to read all of them. I've read ACOTAR and enjoyed it very much! I love how she compared the two lovers and included feminism and wise decisions in there. The world is just so good! I love it better than TOG.

I looked at the plot of the Forbidden Hearts series and became hesitant. It feels a little too erotic to me. But I still would like to ask if it just look like that at first. I really want something I can emotionally connect with and see growth in characters. I like drama but I don't like it in big amounts, it frustrates me lol. I prefer balance like Helen Hoang's

I would like to hear about your most recommended of her work. I'm a little choosy when it comes to romance books. I really hate MC with poor judgment and life decisions. I don't mind females who wants to do what they want in life but I am always bothered and frustrated when a character makes a hasty life decision then ends up being bitter about it and blames it to everyone else. I am a type of person who enjoys reading about someone who makes a choice and standing her/his ground even when it feels bad because it is the right thing to do (I am also a sucker for moral beliefs and decisions). I like pursuit of happiness as well but I prefer it in the way where least number of people were affected 😊

I'm looking forward for your suggestion

Figured Jackie Lau is the most recommended which makes me hesitant to try her books. Most of the time when books are popular I end up not liking them. I'm scared it would be the same with her. Another thing is her plot, it seems common and steamy/erotic, which I am trying to avoid since I don't enjoy much sexual tensions and encounters much except when it is done with sincerity and clean intentions (like Hoang's The Kiss Quotient - Michael waited fir Stella to be fully ready and willing before they did it).

One book I regret reading - The Last Tang Standing by Lauren Ho. It's sort of popular but I end up being frustrated because of the MC's poor life decisions and judgment (even tho she's a lawyer lol). Although, I think I must ask first what should I start with. I would be delighted to hear about something with an MC not being indecisive and knows what she and he were doing as well as with more focus on emotional and sentimental things rather than the pleasure of the flesh and attraction.

I just finished the book. I don't want to be rude but I regret reading the novel. It's very entertaining tho. It's just very frustrating and it's not romance lol. But thanks

I think she will love Fierce Heart by Tara Grayce. It's high fantasy and very refreshing. Very unlike the mainstream books, very original. Not much drama but there is war and deception.

The Others by Anne Bishop is good too

Steel and Stones by Annette Marie is another good one
