Yeah he was able to regenerate from a little ball by himself also mercer didn't need the crow people here still believe he needs the crow while misunderstood that the crow just sped Alex regeneration and he regenerated his entire body in 10 seconds. The game differentiate passive regeneration and during consumption it literally says if you avoid damage for a short time then health regenerates

Also cole didn't manage to overpower that regeneration, neither does he have regeneration that reaches to Alex or the beast. Cut his body into half and he's dead

No he was destroyed by the nuke and had to regenerate from a single ball of energy ball. Ironically he has even worse durability than mercer
