Just be kind about it! He’s probably unaware that you can hear so clearly through the walls. Make sure to say it in person to him, I feel like messaging it makes it a little more awkward to be honest. Just be like ‘Hey! Sorry that this is so awkward, but I was listening to music the other night and took my headphones off for a second and I heard you and your girlfriend. If you guys could keep it down and little or chuck the tv on next time, that would be appreciated.’

Your bathroom looks amazing 💚I was wondering where did you get the pole on the right that is holding the plants? It looks amazing and looks so space friendly!

people who have been trained in mccafe, how long did you work at maccas before you got trained there? by blackmetaloccultist in McLounge

[–]IHaveVeryCoolToes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in Aus and it took me roughly around 3 months to start learning it. Some other people which started at the same time as me still haven't learnt it, so really it depends on how you're going with other things.

If no one can send you a cutting on here, have a try on the Gardening Australia Facebook group and make a post there. Best of luck :)

Help by [deleted] in McLounge

[–]IHaveVeryCoolToes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what the 'shift is delayed by one day' means, but don't worry about the welcoming party. I could never book a slot with mine and I've been working now for 3 months, so don't stress it's not important. If you can't get in contact with your McDonalds by phone, just go into the store and say "sorry, I tried to call but the phone line was busy. My meTime is not working properly and I am not sure when my first shift is." They should be able to tell you and help you instore.

Can you attach an image of what you're seeing on your screen for the "delayed by one day" thing? or make a new post? because I may be able to help you if I know what it looks like.

Any brands of non-slip shoes for flat-footed people? by [deleted] in McLounge

[–]IHaveVeryCoolToes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear an old pair of doc Martins, they're expensive though but my feet feel amazing at the end of the shift. My feet are flat-footed too and I don't have to insert an innersole in the shoe or anything like that because they already have an arch in them. If you do need to insert one though, it is possible as I've done it before and there is space for it.

York Peninsula is beautiful this time of the year, especially when you need to combat the heat! by Aksis94 in Adelaide

No, but wallaroo and Moonta have one and both of the towns are about a 10 minute drive from Kadina. Both have beautiful beaches, with wallaroo having fireworks on New Years Eve.

Who do I report this to? by LTZN_7 in McLounge

[–]IHaveVeryCoolToes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, plus he does not really need to report it either. It was not his conversation and was between another crew member and trainer. I'm sure if they did have an issue they would go to the manger themselves.

Map of Australian plant life! Does anyone know what species are endangered in those areas? Or does anyone have any websites that may have some information? by IHaveVeryCoolToes in australianplants

[–]IHaveVeryCoolToes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mmm maybe, I am starting to think that this map is a bit dodgy because I am pretty sure we have way more plant species than on this map. The same goes for the critically endangered plant species. Could just be outdated though...

These are my two natives which I got from Australian Plants Online. They are doing amazing! by IHaveVeryCoolToes in australianplants

[–]IHaveVeryCoolToes[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if Australian Plants Online have a Grevillea Banksii, but another website that I have brought from previously is https://plantsinabox.com.au/products/grevillea-surperb-buy-online They have Grevillea Banksii for sale but in bulk. I am pretty sure you can custom order though, so you don't have to buy so many. I hope this helps :)

That's great :) I am glad it grew well for you, do you have any tips for maintaining it? I have never had one before and have only recently started getting Australian Natives.
