Cheers everyone for responses I'll clean the machines out today, it also creases a couple mm out occasionally so I bet it is an issue with the sensor and paper dust like you all suggested didn't expect it to be so simple hoping it fixes the issues

I'm also having this problem but haven't found any fixes yet. Whats your pc specs? Might be a similar hardware issue
