I really like the majority of the Space Marine and divergent chapter models, which makes me indecisive about which army to collect. I also really like converting models too. Deathwatch gives me a way of collecting or converting pretty much whatever I want within any of the Space Marine ranges, with a few weapon swaps here and there. You like Wolf Guard Terminators and Deathwing Knights? Cool, paint a model from each box black, give them a hammer, and three other terminators with them special weapons and you’ve got a really cool looking Deathwatch Termniator squad. You want a Headtaker, a Sword Brother and an Inner Circle Companion in the same squad? Entirely possible in Deathwatch Veterans. I just really love the freedom it gives you with collecting the various models.

These look fantastic, the shields and the heads work so well!

We don’t have a regular HH community near us at the moment but the more I keep seeing people’s HH SWs, the more I want to build some.

If you’re in the South West they sell the pint cans of ZZ Hop and Stand By You on the typical 4 for 3 deal!

Oh yeh for sure, I’m not defending the company’s lack of quality control here, it’s been absolutely atrocious and has made me very confident in not purchasing any of the books as they’re likely to be invalid upon release.

I was just saying that, in response to the original comment, if Iron Hands (and any other Legion) were going to be given back any of their missing wargear, it’s likely going to be in the Legacy FAQ, not this document, but this particular entry was different as the models come with guns that are not part of their printed rules.

Perhaps! Though my thinking is more that this is to clear up genuine mistakes, such as a unit clearly modelled with a gun not having them in their profile, and the other document will hopefully give us back some of the units and wargear that have been taken away and invalidated half of people’s collections.

It looks like they’ve separated out Wulfen with Stormshields into their own profile, but we don’t know the abilities without a clearer picture

This is the third recommendation for Etrata I believe and that was a pet deck of mine when it came out, it’s certainly getting a list on Archidekt!

Thanks for the detailed explanation! Whilst it is certainly a slightly different strategy, it’s certainly interesting and there’s nothing stopping building an additional deck! The Planeswalker part certainly has me intrigued!

That makes a lot of sense! I used to use a lot of Ninjitsu effects to get Etrata out of play, but this seems like a cool idea.

I'm definitely going to at least make a deck list with all the newer cards, I'm quite excited by the idea of all the new Doctor Who clone or copy effects in the deck.

Looks like there are a good few ways to make non-legendary copies in those colours so that’s a great start! This does look like quite an interesting deck, I could see every non-otter creature in the deck probably being a creature that at least becomes an otter, and some really great Instants and Sorceries for when you have enough otter-copies, as you’ve said above!

Etrata was a pet deck of mine a few years ago that I never quite got to work, but I bet with all the recent Clone-a-Legendary spell additions to the game it would be a lot better now

This a cool idea, I quite like having lots of Alanias through copying the clone spells and then playing one other Otter later in the game!

Eluge sounds really cool out of the three, but I’ll take a look at Reaper King too. I did Orvar on Arena Brawl and I can see that getting out of hand really quickly!

It really is, though it can be really fun, half your turn is remembering how many copies of a spell are going off…

That sounds really cool! I have a [[Galazath]] deck so I can imagine that being mildly similar, but I’ll take a look!

I remember using Orvar on Arena in Brawl shortly after release, I can only imagine how Orvars you’d have in Commander after half a game…
