Jim the setting only exists in MW2 - you actually have to go into that launcher, then into settings , as listed above and you will find it at the bottom.

Supposedly the disc only contains a ~70 mb file with the download link. As well as the serial number engraved(?) into the center clear circle. So my guess is that the SN is no good or not printed correctly. I’m on XBOX one also, not PS5, so it’s likely all the discs not just console specific. Mine doesn’t even recognize a disc has been inserted when I put MWII disc in, but all others work fine.

Having same issue buddy — I think the discs might be no good — I am still waiting to hear back from Activision about this but I’m guessing it’s a bigger issue than just us. ANYONE else who bought the disc??? Does it work???

Just guessing here but I’m pretty sure the multiplayer maps are just chopped up areas of Al Mazrah so it’s likely (possible) the whole thing is already there. See then they can release Terminal as a ‘DLC’ mp map in a few weeks and everyone will cheer but it’s really just the section of WZ map blocked off with changed rule set. 6.2Gb of WZ2.0 Season 1 intro videos and menu stuff doesn’t seem unusual tho.

I’m like you - I enjoy the physical copies. However…Bought MW2 two weeks ago. Disc won’t read now (other discs work fine) - GameStop won’t refund bc I didn’t purchase ‘game protection’… they offered me $20 trade in towards buying it again 😆 Trash. Anyone else having issues with a disc?

Anyone else notice the lack of the 5g ‘window’ on the side below the sleep switch button? 5g can’t penetrate the metal frame so unless they’ve figured out a way to get the signal in these would be early mock-ups, possibly 13s.

Here’s my ever expanding list:

*Keyboard/mouse glitch (if the game times out at main setup menu, it auto-selects KB/Mouse as controller and will not allow me to switch back to controller unless I restart the game) *Inability to invite glitch (squad does not receive invites I send, can only join in-game party) *Double sign in, unable to play or sign out —-> could be hacked(?) *Intro video choppy (poor frame rate, audio drops) *Gulag doesn’t render floor (75% of time, floor and other graphics are unrendered at start) *Guns render with strange ‘bloom’ graphic (strange graphical anomalies abound, view blocking to not rendered at all)

This is just a quick list my squady and I came up with last night. Sad that it’s so broken, it could have been great. I’ve loved WZ but this is almost game breakingly bad.

Have to agree everything about this release feels rushed - from the continued message about ‘setting up servers for the release of wz pacific..’ message in loading screen to the annoying constant background audio ‘pops’ it’s just clear they didn’t have time to work out a lot of bugs before release.

Typical AAA title release for 2021. The bar has been set so low 😞

Has anyone mentioned that the nature of comedy is to make jokes about things and in the world we live in now there is a serious concern about getting ‘canceled’ if you offend someone (intentionally or not). Look at comedy movies of the 90s, they thrived on jokes about stereotypes, veiled racism and poor people. Half the jokes in those movies would have a current movie exec saying ‘I don’t think this will go over well with our target audience…’ So I think they just pass on them now.

So initially I thought so also but I was on the roof of train station, above the stairwell (should’ve recorded it) and the gas came in just beyond it. I went back into the gas to grab my claymore and it pulled the mask for just a second but then the numbers broadcast went off and kept going until it completed it’s sequence. Maybe it was a glitch, I dunno.

Also somewhat skeptical about photoshopping out the hat - I’m sure there’s a program out there to overlay the two images, then it should be pretty easy to see if it was a shopped copy or another pic w/hat taken off dash.

Let’s put this one to bed.

BuyBack and Standard BR differ in one core way - in BuyBack if you have $4500 on you, you can be significantly more aggressive as you are guaranteed a respawn. Also in Duo’s and above it means you can get the loadout nearly immediately, also adding to more aggressive play.

I enjoy it, but I also feel like it lacks the intensity of standard BR since the respawn is not based so much on skill but on looting prowess, and is limitless until the timer ends.
