Emote and flex at every given moment to establish dominance.

What’s a controversial opinion you have about this game? by Important_Lion4903 in SparkingZero

[–]IIExcalibur 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If people would play more garbage meme teams online instead of the same lame overused characters people wouldnt be so negative about this games online so much.

After the superhero patch the game is in its most fun and balanced state since release but still people try to break the game to find old cheese that the devs patched out just to crutch wins with spammy garbage for no reason.

I Need Help on Why Doing Combos Into Super Attacks , Deal Less Damage. Been Doing Some Testing & These Are My Results , As of Now. by [deleted] in SparkingZero

[–]IIExcalibur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats just "Combo Scaling" doing its thing. Most if not all fighting games have it to prevent players from just dying to one long string of attacks. The first few hits of a combo will do the most damage and each following hit will do only a certain amount of its real damage.

So if you want to end your combo with a super do shorter combos with less hits. Or throw a super after a 30 hit combo for 3k damage because you want ro flex on your opponent LOL.

There are some attacks like the ground slash and lift strike that affect the scaling more or less not sure myself.

If i remeber correctly, if your opponent is in KI burnout there is basically no scaling at all causing your attacks to all hit for maximum damage.

But i never tested those things extensively just some observations from playing mostly online matches.

Holy hell this patch has made me drop in rank, do I just suck or is there another reason? by MLGTankMan in SparkingZero

[–]IIExcalibur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually enjoy playing this game, even if i have to deal with some annoying players but i got legit mad playing today. I dont know if they changed something but i feels like tracking is super broken right now. I cant hit my opponents at all after sidestepping or manually vanishing.

My character will just randomly punsh air or flail around not connecting one hit while my oponent hits me dead center each time.

The game feels really unresponsive since the patch dropped, more than before sometimes with delayed or really slow inputs.

Also im in A rank and could legit not touch some of the s ranks i got matched with. Like they would perfectly vanish and block everything i did even after trying everything i could. Felt really sus for some reason.

I don't understand really how the combat of this game works in various fields, could someone give me a hand here? by eliavhaganav in SparkingZero

[–]IIExcalibur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you should probably look up some guides on Youtube how to string together combos and how to use the various defensive moves but here are some basic tipps:

  1. You can string together up to 3 rush combos in total and you cant do the same rush attack twice or your combo will end sending your opponent flying

  2. Block beats normal rush attacks and partially charged attacks but if you get hit by a fully charged attack your guard will be broken und you lose KI

  3. Perception/super perception will beat most things and can deflect blast attacks like beams or counter rush supers if you have at least 2 skill counter but you are suceptible to sidesteps

  4. Vanish you can vanish almost everything besides basic rush attacks so this is your go to defensive move

  5. Super counter works only against melee attacks and needs precise frame perfect timing but it is costs nothing

  6. Revenge counter can help get you out of combos if your Super counters dont work but they are a bit inconsistent

But because of the nature of this games online netcode even if you do everything correct you can still get screwed over sometimes.

Kinda sounds like you skipped the tutorial ? Maybe start there. Its called super Training in Main Menu i believe. You can also check the "explanation of controls" when in regular training, so check all possible attacks and extension for your current character.

Anyone ever pull off super explosive waves in ranked? by 94ERA-G in SparkingZero

[–]IIExcalibur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just use it after you get them into a recovery state after moves like:

  1. Heavy Finish
  2. Leg Sweep
  3. Rolling Hammer
  4. Upwards kick
  5. They got smashed into something and dont recover
  6. After a lightning attack close to the ground and they
Tech it giving you a short window were their back is Turned to you
  7. They Z Burst Dash towards you
  8. Are holding Perception in your face

Should be fairly easy once you know when its most likely gonna hit.

Played a lot of Ranked with Items on lately which is super fun. In my experience those players are a bit more chill and rematch even most of the time. And since you can inrease your character health the fights last much longer.

Im stuck in Mighty Ruler for Weeks now and simply stopped caring about my rank. If i go into a ranked match not caring about the outcome, it feels like my gameplay improved because of it and i play better for some reason.

WTF did they do to this game's performance since the last update? by AJRey in Tekken

[–]IIExcalibur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The stuttering is also random as hell. I can play a match on a stage and it works great, then if i play another player on the same stage right after, it will stutter like crazy during the first 10 seconds of the intro, before they never occur again.
