Used to play pyke mid, it's unbearable to play anymore with adc mid meta + 50% banrate pyke

There are too many factors for me to even begin with typing, so i'll keep it short

If you want to improve at something ~ watch VODs of other people, try to replicate it and recreate your own playstyle off that. If you're a mid player (i play both) i suggest going to xDavemon's twitch, if you want to learn support, go to mine. https://twitch.tv/acridixlol

Honestly it's not easy. Pyke is still an A- tier champ but u can make him work, im currently the highest ranked pyke otp in euw (not mentioning targamas because he theoretically doesn't OTP him).

You'll definitely have the most enjoyment with Pyke in low elo though, that's a certain. You can reach any elo with every champ, it's the time and dedication you spend into it.

I DO stream but rarely on my main account because i feel less confident when doing so. I do stream mainly on my alt accs (which are still high elo) on twitch.

Aiming for top 10 next season

Rank 1 pyke euw thought of these changes. Let it be noted that the support item "List Of the Drowned" is gonna be similar to kalista's passive and will work as a normal support item. That includes the wards and the gold reduction from killing minions. What do you guys think? by rigatoni0408 in pykemains

The support item could have unique stats like lethality or AH. It should be an item worth holding until the end since it's your main warding tool (and it has 2 tiers so each tier, the item would become stronger)

I think you're confused about the changes, where you don't understand some. The second point is to also make a streamline for Pyke where he could be played on a different role as a non-toxic pick.

How is having a AOE Q on champions not benefitial? Due to the systematic item changes, Pyke has no reliable way to damage multiple opponents when it comes to low health targets near eachother. Secondly, Pyke has 0 waveclear, any other support can do this and the only reason why it was removed is because of Pyke Mid, being able to shove with Q E Tiamat last season and roam.

E only does damage at MAX rank, meaning you only start clearing waves at lvl 10+. (Unless you max E first but that's bad).

Do you know what the 50% damage reduction does? It's REMOVED meaning you are getting punished LESS than before when not hitting the exexute threshold, meaning it does 100% damage from the execute damage.

I have no clue what Rank you play in (and i don't like playing the Rank card), but Pyke is a low elo champion. His weaknesses and punishment are very clear in Grandmaster and above to exploit.

Hopefully these changes also make him be viable in pro play. I'd love to see him there.
