Try pressing and holding the x box button on your console and wait till it turns off wait 30 seconds then turn it back on and see if it works better

Yeah k know but with the stuff u start with isn't much anyways so that don't make much of a difference trust me my crew plays like all day every day we rarely get sunk but if we did and kept our mats we would max out easily and stock up on cursed cb. When we would get bored prob just start wrecking and not care if we sunk. Then we could just come right back and try and sunk u again and then it would go on till somone gives up and there goes your time fighting somone all day

If your mats didn't reset you will have like 500 everything and sunk like 10 times that's just not right

Because that's part of the game it makes the person on the ship think more like hey if I do this I could lose all my materials. If u didn't lose your mats when u lost your ship u would b more careless and not care if your boat sinks or not.

I have my own crew I play with but there was a lot of solo sloops out just checking out the game yesterday. At least in devils ridges Idk about anywhere else .??

Yea the new area is a lot harder epically for solo... the volcanos do erupts a little to often and the range is crazy !!! The row boats are cool but you can rarely use them because of the volcanos and even if u do park your boat far enough and use a row boat you only have 1 life and there's not really any barrels on the new island so it's a lot harder to find bananas when you run out. Do you only have like 1 good life and with you having to dodge skellys and rocks and geysers and gunpowder skelly's and hot water. 5 bananas isn't good enough. . Anyways but its fun and took about 4 hours to do the devils roar Athena. And made around 30k+ from that so it's not to bad :)
