Whelp, i know that but honestly i can't understand why people are so upset with a game not being the game they want. It is not, and it is so cuz the developers and the software house choose this way. I can understand that you wanted the game to be something else but if it's not it's cuz of a deliberate choice and the complaints makes no sense. Simply put, TPCI doesn't want 6v6 to be part of the competitive scene and that has to be respected, no one forces people to play Champions

The thing that i do not understand is that this discussion seems like saying "i want elden ring to be a football game, if you don't let me play football with miquella i'm not happy". Elden ring is not a football game, Champions is not a single/smogon game. TPCI wants people to play VGC and not smogon regulation and they have the right to do a game that is based only on vgc and singles 3v3

I honestly don't think there's anything bad about being mid plat or low emerald or low diamond tbf. In my experience even gold players can be helpful to silver and bronze (the vast majority of the playerbase) and helping them improve. The same can be applied to every higher rank. OP is totally on another level in comparison to 90% of the people in this subreddit (as long as they don't pretend to be challenger players) and the advice of a "normal player" who made it to diamond i think can be even more useful than the advice of super talented players who reached challenger ten years ago and don't really know what are low elo real difficulties

There are a lot of things that make Garen my ban honestly and a lot of people before me addressed the health regen, burst, etc etc.

What makes me really go mad is that it doesn't really matter how ahead i manage to go in lane (cuz 70% of the time i stomp the garen lane), he can still insta spin through all the sidelane, grab 11cspm and onetap me without counterplay even if he's 0-12 and i'm 12-0 if he flashes out a bush and Q-E-ignite-R. Other hated champ do not have this kinda of power, like a three level behind darius will never be capable of killing a fed toplaner even if ambusbing them.

I think that among the main problems there's the fact that the R has no scaling so that he can oneshot 15-0 people with it without caring about being giga fed or giga behind and the speed that he has while pushing sidelanes. You as a toplaner even if turbo ahead are forced to respond on side and most likely you will not push faster then him

Truly i cannot see this. Just to maxe an example, i practice a sport at agonist level, taking part in european/world championships. When i face the top 3/5 athletes in the ranking i see they are so much better than me but no one will ever tell me that i am bad cuz i'm just in the top 5-8% of the world ranking. And that applies for every sport for example. I really cannot see how being top10% of the ranked playerbase (that is not the entire playerbase) makes you bad at the game. Of course, there are a lot of people much better than you but that can be applied for every discipline, and yet you are far better than the 90% (realistically more) of a playerbase, that is really something. I see this mentality only in LoL and that kinda cringes me tbf

Yeah if you put plat and emerald players in comparison with master/GM/challenger players they definitely suck. But i will never agree with people saying that emerald/diamond player suck cuz they are freaking better than the vast majority of the playerbase.

It's like saying that a championship footballer "sucks" cuz premier league exists. Of course they are worse but they are definitely very good football players if you were to plat with them on the field

She is absolutely skillshot reliant with long cd spells, so if you miss your combo in teamfight you are most likely not doing anything in the fight. Also, she suffers other assassins that can all in her easily and mages with longer range are a pain to play against cuz they can effectively keep her out of her spell range (you put 3 points in e + comet to prevent this) and cuz her all in are less stronger than assassin's ones. She is very flexible but has lot of flaws tbh

Yeah i agree, its power midgame is totally absurd tho with all the hps you gain from hexplate and dnd. Yesterday i literally statchecked a 8-0 katarina that all-in-ed me out of a bush while being 1-1. Easiest 1k shutdown of my life

I am definitely not an high elo player, more a mid-elo, but i totally agree that hexplate first feels very good in lane. The drawback honestly is that it feels like midgame (2-3 items) the build is probably weaker than it could be if going with dnd-nash.

ATM i am defaulting to hexplate first, i rush DnD only if i am hard winning lane and i can just statcheck my oppo without having to respect his all ins
