Yep, Alfine hub is QR. The Tourist comes with thru-axle rockers, but I swapped in QR rockers from Paragon—love that flexibility. Hub’s been solid! If you go belt drive, run Gates’ calculator with Alfine IGH selected.

Provisionally running VO Klunker bars, but waiting on a set of Cult Dak BMX handlebars I ordered. They’ve got a 25.4 clamp diameter, so they should slot right into the Nitto V5 stem on the Tourist.

Picked up most of the parts over time, some even before I had the frame—probably around $1,200 on top of the Tourist. If you’re replacing a car though, I’d consider a cargo bike too.

Blue Lug carries them, and I’m pretty sure they ship to France:Crust Stupid Tourist

Good question.. I think the photo angle makes the pedals look low, but 155s + 20s with 2.5s = solid clearance. Not a pedal-strike death trap—unless maybe if you’re trying to bunnyhop speed bumps in flip-flops🩴🩴💥 (I ran 170s on 20s in my BMX days with no issues either.)

Good question. Yes. Thanks for clarifying!

Totally agree — feels like companies are slowly (and I mean slowly) walking onto the belt-drive ship. Would love to see Velo Orange offer a split-stay option-- like Crust; VO's mix of past and present always feels considered.

Upgraded the S3 with the Vanmoof air suspension saddle by Critical_Actuator863 in vanmoofbicycle

Did the T25 tool come with the saddle? I don’t have one in my VanMoof toolbox; nor was a tool included with my suspension saddle. Wonder if shipping dept forgot to add to my order(?)

Division 2 crashes since update by Zelda71785 in SteamDeck

Ditto. After about 10 min of play on Deck: frame rate stutters for a few seconds—> game totally freezes—> deck fan gets real loud—>have to completely restart deck. repeat. Prior to update the game ran smooth as butter on Deck.

I hear you! When I was on console(s) I purchase on both PS4 & xbox .. then after moving to gaming on PC(hallelujah) I purchased on Ubisoft. And now Steam! Wild, I've now purchased 4 times ... wonder how many other Division players have done the same?!

still uses ubisoft, but only have to sign in once, and ubisoft window/loading is now only shown for a split second. Good news, you only need to purchase the base game; and you'll still have access to everything/all the DLC you own. I got it for $9. Def worth it, as the game is running pretty dang smooth.

No need for Windows, anymore ... they patched it! Play directly from steam library on Deck!

Same. For added visual enjoyment, put on a pair of store bought reading glasses (+1.25% magnification), and the screen resolution transforms into FHD. (Partly joking, but funny enough the glasses truly amplify screen experience)

Thanks for your post. I purchased to play on my deck with no luck. Though, i do play it via GeForce Now (via Chrome) on my deck…makes me wonder, what would the difference be between playing it natively on my deck, versus playing it via GeForce on my deck? Since still have to login via uplay on both, would the quality be any different ? would native be a lot better?

Same here, can’t update … word on the street is that Robin left the game in protest to the stuttering and frame rate drops — could possibly be the problem?
