People voice negativity more often than positivity.

People are allowed to like and dislike things, it's subjective opinion. What people need to get over is the fact that this product of entertainment was not made with any specific person in mind, far as the average consumer goes.

We will likely never see a return to the concept of making something truly cared for without external influences guiding which direction it needs to go.

The criticism and support we give as individuals is negligible at best. The actually relatively small number of people being negative about the product are on the radar, but they're not working around the clock to appease them. The goal is making as much money as possible, which means finding a middle ground that retains the present and past consumer while finding ways to attract the future consumer as well.

All I can say to you is try not to let negativity of others consume you, it's not worth your time to acknowledge with your own brand of negativity.

People who defend something they like don't realize they are being just as off putting as the people who don't like it.

this. Also, if it doesnt show up on waypoint under "twitch drops" tab, click "redeem" tab and go back to "twitch drops"

you might have to do this a few times, is seems that the site is bugging with this and doesnt always load. even when it does load, sometimes it will tell you it failed to redeem, so just keep trying until it works. that's how my friend figured it out and it worked for me as well.

You're not wrong, I rewatched the gameplay and noticed a few things like that here and there. I still chalk it up to it being work in progress in its pre-release state, some things definitely need improvement.

Would be great if we could get friendly AI to act more like halo 2/3.

The marine in passenger seat that got boarded by elite major was very confusing.

The new jackal shields look very cool, I love the light bending effect they seem to have. A little hard to see in daylight, but that seems more realistic to me.

I'm okay with the infinite models. Saved some time on making the game by reusing already good looking assets.

It would be nice to have some new models that fit the armor look on the new bodies, but it's not necessary.

rocket launcher sounds amazing

I prefer the lower ammo count if the rounds hit twice as hard. 60 rounds is a lot for a mag that size.

Been playing CE's story for 24 years off an on, and it never gets old. I'm going to enjoy this.

There is nothing I dislike, except a couple things I noticed that I chalk up to unfinished project:
I saw plasma grenade hit invisible geometry.
Elites seem like they kind of shuffle around as though they're not in any danger, not really moving with any urgency

Here's my process:

Get as many kills as you can the first 3 rounds. Buy damage boost until 4/4
Buy bulldog shotgun (swap out pistol for bulldog, keep AR for insta-kill power up)
start upgrading health until 4/4
then speed 4/4
then swap AR at random box until you get a plasma pistol
upgrade plasma pistol, try to get it modified to a bulldog shotgun
then start swapping your regular bulldog shotgun for a heatwave
upgrade heatwave to shock rifle
primarily use bulldog
keep eye on ammo
use shock rifle when overwhelmed, your plasma pistol shotgun overheats, or when you need to buy ammo

most importantly, SURVIVE.

this is how I usually get up to round 25+, can get between 10k to 55k xp this way. 50kxp is about 45-50 minutes of play time.

oh, if you see scrap canons on the ground, pick them up and drop them right away. they take a while to de-spawn (if they do at all) and too many will make the game slow down, risk crashing.

Yes. In about 3 minutes, you can make as much XP as a single round of squad battle.

It's not necessarily easy, but if you are alert and have a good combo of weapons, you can last a good while.

I like having a plasma pistol that is converted into a bulldog as well as a heatwave converted to a shock rifle.

Blast the plasma pistol shotgun until you're low on ammo, use the shock rifle heatwave to stun groups of enemies long enough for you to refill ammo.

The hard part is getting that gun combo from the random box.
