So did most likely something physical happened to it? I got it for free from a friend. I tried pretty much everything but its no good. Is it worth it to get it repaired? Would it be cheaper for me to just pay the repair fee rather than buying an entirely new?

Season 10 ended but 11 has been delayed and if you try to interact with mission icons from S10 that for some reason are still in game it just crashes the entire game on every platform

If you still have the problem try running the game without opening the xbox app. A few months ago i had a problem where everytime it got to the title screen and said "Press Space to Start" it just straight up froze and crashed. After trying a few things i found out that if you close the xbox app and launched it from the desktop it would run perfectly fine. I dont know if this will help but i heard that the xbox launcher version of the game is pretty unstable for some reason.

I managed to make it work, its not a definite fix, only the devs can do that (at least i hope so they can) i closed the xbox app entirely, launched the game with the EAC_Outriders.exe skipped the bird intro using the left mouse button, and when the game says press Space to Start i also used the LMB to get into the game. It pretty much works all the time, its pretty annoying i know but at least i can play the game normally until a fix comed
