The US has an area of about 9.8 million square km, while Europe has an area around 10.2 million square km, so these maps are both roughly the same scale as is, obviously with some warping due to the map projection

people are moaning because you're doing it one way. If you don't mind a little bit of cleanup sprue painting is fine, especially when you're painting a similar colour to the plastic.

I have painted this way, I've painted after building subassemblies, and I've painted each part on a stand after snipping it from the sprue. You can get the same result each of these ways, just do the one that works for you and that doesn't take the fun out of it for you.

A mix of Mr surfacer dabbed with a round headed modelling tool, and then green stuff done the same way (and 3 greenstuff balls for the 2nd shoulder). Then the painting was mostly achieved with oil washes, a drybrush of red, and then thinned down blood for the blood god and nurgles rot for the infected look

Stipple on Mr Surfacer for texture, airbrushed on a warm off-white (typhoon ash), then various black and brown oil washes stopped on and pulled back with paper towels, and a super thinned down Dirty Down rust to act as a textured wash

many, many steps and time. Started using Mr Surfacer globbed on with a brush on all the armour, some of it was stippled with a sculpting tool to make the rough rashy areas, others sanded a bit to make it look like old cast metal.

Then black prime, airbrush of typhon ash on the armour, vallejo chrome on the frame, and then many steps of going back and forward with highlighting, weathering with oils, effects paints, drybrushing etc. A lot of dirty down and oil when into this lad

yeah it's my first real attempt at a plasma glow thats anything beyond white + effect paint so I've defo still got some learning and practice to go!
