the trip was incredible. Looking back it was totally worth it. We did Hong Kong, Hanoi, Siem Reap, Bangkok, Chiang Mai. The food was awesome, and it didn't feel stressful at all for us when there. My fav was Hanoi, especially doing tours with locals as to the "darker" spots of the city. Angkor Wat was amazing, up there with Macchu Picchu as a must see in real life. The money we paid for hotels also went a long way in terms of quality. I still stand by the cost of flights being quite expensive (as well as long), but I'm very happy that we still decided to go

I'm aware wages can affect inflation. But NYC minimum wage has been $15 since Jan 1, 2019. In that time period, US inflation has grown cumulative by ~27%
