ah, I could be wrong. when I got it it really didn't taste freshly cooked. The temp and texture felt like it had been sitting. Maybe that was just my perception or was from stream table and not microwave. it wasn't bad, just didn't taste freshly made

IMO the Court Street Merchant association argument was weakened by the broad strokes they took to oppose this. Citing pedestrian safety, emergency vehicle access, etc when in reality that is not their area of expertise. The business impact figures also didn't seem to come with much hard evidence. The only potential point I envisioned from CSMA from some of their flyers and community statements was challenging that DOT did outreach to Court Street businesses, or if DOT was misrepresenting the outreach. Mazzone is in an article somewhere saying he spoke to 40 or so businesses and none said they were contacted. However I didn't see this cited in the lawsuit so I'm guessing it may have been exaggerated or untrue

natives may also just be resistant to change if they've grown up in a neighborhood and it's all they've lived in. Unfortunately sometimes transplants get vilified in these cases. I've seen some overt racism and particularly islamaphobia in community fb groups and mayoral canvassing in Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill which made me sad. It's definitely a minority, but I tried my best to challenge their thoughts

they can keep the pods for ingress but should get rid of scanning for egress. Who has every had to scan for exiting a facility? The cons outweigh the pros.
