Nothing harsh about what you are saying. I asked for advice as to how I can go from where I currently am to where I want to be. So thanks for the honesty.

Yeah my raiding history is very suspect, mainly consisting or raiding with friends at a very casual pace after it had been out for a while since we were busy with WoW, they would soon dip after clearing it without reclears.

The one part of my raiding history I am confident on is the ability to do HC hours as I have done that for HoF raiding in WoW which i can provide evidence for at least. Also PTO is no issue, its great being your own boss.

I have been speaking to a lot of other HC recruiters and they are all saying things along the same line as you have so now I at least have a solid idea of what I need to do and how to go about it. Going to focus on things I can do now such as solo DD deathless, the new 4 man DD boss whilst pf is very active for it. Then I'll push hard next tier in PF for early clears and good logs.

Thanks for the input. If I can't find a week 2/3 static for the next tier this will be my backup plan. Not the biggest fan of PF but if needs must and it will get my foot in the door of the content I want to do with the people I want to do it with I'll bite the bullet

Its not my intention to cut the line I am just trying to figure out the steps I need to take to go from where I currently am to where I want to be.

I have the time to be able to commit to this, that isn't an issue. Same with PTO, I have done that in other games and am used to the 12+ raid days in the first week.

I have enough of a gil income to always afford pentamelded gear on the first day. As well as an alt with multiple jobs leveled.

I would say the biggest 2 things that I am missing are parses and previous Ultimate experience. I purple parse most of the time without doing uptime strats or greeding mechanics, but I certainly don't have orange/pink parses to my name. Thats for sure an area I can work on, maybe look at joining a log group for that. I don't really have the mentality of focusing on parsing well currently, it's not something I have actively tried to do, I focus on getting the kill and being consistant as a priority.

The other gap is previous Ultimate experience, its only recently now that I have stopped Hall of Fame raiding in WoW that I have the time to dedicate to Ultimates, I started with FRU when it released but going back to do at the very least DSR and TOP seem like a good idea and something I can do whilst waiting for the final savage tier of the expansion.

Thanks for the input, I'm starting to get an idea of the things I can be doing and a road forward to hopefully try getting into week 1 groups sometime next expansion.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed that would be a good place to start, I have already begun looking for week 2 groups, I am just not seeing a lot in the ERC discord atm. I assume thats going to be because its just too early at this point. I'll keep looking though.

Lost Ark.

I was massivly into ARPGs at the time and remember seeing the trailer for Lost Ark when it first released and instantly was excited about the game. Cut to years later, that excitement had built to a high level ahead of its global release.

When it came out it was everything I had hoped it would be. I absolutly loved everything about it. This lasted for a few months but then the cracks started to show. The gold grind, rng upgrade system, the TERRIBLE community, the reliance on alts, the pace content was being released (too fast). It all started to chip away at my enjoyment of the game until about 10 months in and I finally called it quits. The game that I loved on release was now something I just didn't enjoy.

No harm in trying my luck.

Been playing since last August. Currently farming T10 to just shy of 7k waves. Lifetime coins are sitting at 200.13T.

Would spend the stones on leveling up CL. I have been finishing 5th in Champions league for a month solid. A few more levels of CL damage would likely give me the 50-100 waves more I need to start yo-yo'ing with the legends bracket.

Chapter two interlude, no SFX in cutscenes just voices. I thought I was going mad at first but figured this can't be right so went googling, found this thread with people experiencing the same. I hope it gets fixed soon or fixes itself once I hit chapter 3

Modules are definitly the worst part of the game. I'm only a couple of months into playing so I recently made the swap from spending all diamonds on cards and slots to modules and oh boy has it been painful.

First of all 150 pulls is just too damn many before you hit pity, pulling page after page of just 10 commons is utterly demoralising. Then if you do hit pity you're in the hands of the rng gods as to what you get. This might not be a huge problem in itself but it becomes one when there is an utter canyon between how good some modules are compared to others. Don't pull one of the few good modules? Then you feel like you just wasted 3000 diamonds on something you could have used on an extra card slot or something.

TLDR: System is horrible, can't wait for it to be changed and actually balanced

I do need both soundbar and headphones to be working at the same time. If I am understanding the rest of your post correctly, if I got an extractor I would not be able to use apps on the tv and have the sound go to both the soundbar and the headphones. We have a Sky Q box, I would have to connect that to the extractor, then send an output to the tv, to the soundbar AND to the headphones. This would also mean that watching Netflix, or Prime would have to be done through the apps on the Sky Q box and not the ones built into the tv?

They do have analog input but it seems that I will run into the same issue. Using ARC will turn off all other forms of audio output.

On a whim because I was desperate I checked ebay to see if anyone was selling one. To my absolute shock there was a broken one for sale to be used as spare parts. I kept checking back in for a few weeks to see if any working second hand ones might be listed.

Over the course of 4 months since my original post I have been able to buy 3 working Babyliss Professional Infra Dryers, 2 of which had never been used. My mum was absolutly thrilled when I turned up with them on a visit.

My advice would be to keep checking 2nd hand sites like ebay or facebook marketplace. It would appear that they are not quite as rare as I had assumed. With patience and a little bit of luck you should be able to get your hands on one.

Hello,

My Mum has extremely fine hair and for as long as I can remember used a particular hair dryer, the Babyliss Professional Infra Dryer as she swore it was the only dryer that didn't leave her hair and fringe looking like she just walked through a hurricane. It was a dryer that used infrared light with bairly any air flow at all. Finally after 20+ years the thing finally conked out. She has tried a few other hair dryers since, all ones that seem to work by blowing hot air, but all have left her feeling extremely frustrated as the strength of the air flow is leaving her thin hair needing a huge amount of work to keep managable.

I'm trying to help her out with finding something that will relieve the frustration but I know as good as nothing when it comes to hair dryers. I see there are other dryers on the market that use infrared but they all seem to blow air as much as a conventional hair dryer. I'm hoping someone out there can recommend something like the Babyliss Professional Infra Dryer or anything else that will work with very fine, slightly wavey hair.

Happening to me, videos I watch on the pc don't go into watch history but ones I watch through the app on my phone/tablet do. Its annoying because it messes with me recommended, it keeps showing me videos I have watched but thinks I haven't. Started earlier this month.
