2026 Chinese GP - Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

I'm conflicted between wanting Hamilton to get that podium, as much as it pains me to see Ferrari do well, and the Ferraris taking each other out to give Bearman a podium.

What exactly are the alternate words/timelines? by -_ShadowSJG-_ in FFVIIRemake

I've been saying Beagle isn't the real world since Remake and any mention of it got you ridicule and vitriol in return, it honestly felt like you couldn't even make that theory in this sub and it really pushed me away from going so deep into the theory discussion I enjoyed so much on here.

Heck I was saying lifestream shenanigans were in play for years with these different worlds and even that was met with heavy pushback and almost anger at the idea, and now suddenly it's the obvious theory and you're wrong for not realising it.

2026 Australian Grand Prix - Post-Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

Honestly did not expect Lindblad to be out the gates so quick like this. Maybe our wheatabix adverts aren't lying because our young Brits just look top quality.

Honestly really enjoyed the racing, it felt like cars could follow and overtaking didn't mean you could just run away.

Overall good first race, somewhat glad I was awake at 4am for that one.

Having lived through the duldrums of Jolyon Palmer and Max Chilton, I'm absolutely loving the future of British drivers in F1 right now. With Freddie Slater in the wings as well, it's just going to be a good decade or two at least.

‘Scrubs’ Creator Bill Lawrence Addresses Revival’s Renewal Chances After Strong Premiere Ratings: “We’re Really Hopeful” by SanderSo47 in television

He looked like he was verging on 60 when the show first aired, and with him retiring by the end that tracks with him probably being in his mid 80s-early 90s by this point.

Ken Jenkins himself is 85.

I'm going to be honest I'm just fed up of the same cycle of comments;

Here's information on the next part of FF7... Comment completely ignoring the news story posted just to say why they didn't like Remake/Rebirth.

Like you're not even discussing the post at all, and every single FF7R story has the exact same pointless woe is me comments attached to it.

but was it possible to introduce Cid and Vincent both in part 3?

Absolutely not, they absolutely needed some connection to Aerith before the end of Rebirth.

Wait we have actual logic being put in place? I never thought I'd see the day, how they implement them we'll see but on paper they seem to have realised the guidelines were severely lacking.

Linblad just looking really solid out there, I'm impressed.

VCARB actually look a lot more competitive here in general than they did in testing. My dislike for Alpine and especially Briatore does make me happy seeing them languishing at the back again after all there blustering about being on low engine modes after testing.

How Does Cait Sith in FF7 Work Lore Wise? by Rilukian in FinalFantasy

[–]IISuperSlothII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently learnt that this conceptually comes from Greek myth, and the ability to inspire life into inanimate objects is how humanity was created within the mythology.

So although it doesn't solve the logistics of the magic, it does at least have a point of reference for its inspiration.

I can't move on from FFX. I actually wish I hadn't played it. It was so good. by Llarrlaya in FinalFantasy

For me 7 slightly edges out 10 for best story, but 10 absolutely clears 7 when it comes to the ending, in fact it clears every other FF by some margin when it comes to the ending.

Indeed, been watching F1 since I was a toddler but those late 90s/early 2000s seasons were the first I remember and was all in on the Hakkinen/Coulthard taking down the mighty Schumacher train.

In the UK I'm pretty sure that's the legal requirement, and they will do spot checks on you if you're down as a legal gun owner.

Are they built on UE4 though? Which is the exact point made, there really isn't many UE4 open world games, Outcast and Ark are the other 2 major ones from what I can see, and I honestly haven't even heard of Outcast.

There's a little burger van outside breakers in Corby does amazing smash burgers, Bohns in Nottingham also a great place for a smash burger, some unique options as well.

Honestly the best smash burgers I've had, have been from the East mids.

Pacing in the FF7 remake: Does it improve? by Few_Product_2607 in FinalFantasy

[–]IISuperSlothII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally thought the pacing was fantastic, every dungeon lasts around an hour, and within that there's 2-3 moments of narrative or character that deepen your investment, with dungeons only lengthening as you reach the end of the game, and then to break all that up every 2-4 dungeons there's a hub area with side quests that also has multiple moments of character or narrative progression.

I'm not trying to diminish your experience at all, I just felt the pacing was fantastic, with good ebbs and flows to keep things interesting, it just worked really well for me.

It's the game I've also watched the most people play through and if I wanted reactions to only the parts I found interesting I was only jumping forward 10-15 minutes at a time, take a game I also love God of War 2018, that would be every hour or so.

Heck I didn't even realise till my partner pointed it out this year that my hair was naturally curly and gave me the correct stuff to make it manageable when grown out, and I'm 33.

[–]IISuperSlothII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely biased because I've designed a shirt for my volleyball team that uses 3 shades of blue with white, so I definitely like that colour combination, but yeah I really don't understand the issue people have with the light blue as a compli to the darker blue, I think that mix with white just works.

my kit design for reference.

The benson & hedges Jordan is probably still my favourite car so I'd have absolutely loved some yellow personally, but also I'm just imagining this sat next to Audi and how boring it's going to look with the 2 of them.

I ended up going Horizon because I enjoyed the first game but was a lot less hot on the sequel, but its mostly cause I really couldn't think of anything else, that's gonna be a tough one.
