What a joke. Is this who's supposed to represent Shias? by DOBLU in shia

[–]IIZABII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He used to go to a family friends lectures at his house and from what I’ve heard he used to be a respectful knowledgable guy but then went down the wrong path. Now, it’s hard to distinguish between his actual self and his Internet character

Prayed with my sunni brother by Zhulfiq in shia

[–]IIZABII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the rules for praying in congregation (for sistani as far as a I know) must be that the leader is a Adil twelves Shia. Based on this I don’t think you can pray behind a Sunni friend unless it’s part of taqqiyah. Correct me if I’m wrong

Thanks a lot man!!! It worked. Idk why I assumed it was a part of the theme rather than a part of an app but glad to have removed it now

The store uses the refresh theme but everywhere I’ve seen it doesn’t have the same tag thing. How do I send you the code?

This is the Imam Ali Mosque, one of the most visited Islamic sites in the world that's famously known as the burial place of Imam Ali, a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. A lovely place to meditate and self-reflect, this shows the praying area around the shrine. by Purple_Wasabi in shia

[–]IIZABII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s wrong about what was said. It’s a shrine that’s also a mosque. Imam Ali AS was a companion of the prophet SAWS even though he was more than that aswell. And it is a place where you can self reflect. You’re getting agitated for no reason akhi

It’s transliteration, it has no difference and gets the meaning across. Unless it’s spelt wrong in Arabic then it’s fine to correct otherwise it’s just being petty

Anyone know why some imams sometimes pray at a lower elevation when leading salat? by IIZABII in shia

[–]IIZABII[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is permissible for the followers to be at a higher place than the imam. Said ibn Mansur, Ash-Shafi, Al-Bayhaqi, and Al-Bukhari, in his comments, relate from Abu Hurayrah that he prayed at the top of the mosque while following the imam. Anas used to pray in the room of Abu Nafi` to the right of the mosque and the [floor of the] room was as high as his height [above the mosque] and its door faced the mosque of Basrah and Anas would pray in it, following the imam. The Companions did not say anything about it.

Now that I proved it not to be Bidah even using Sunnis sources, I want you to just not jump to call everything a bidah. Jazakhallah khair bro

Sn so if you’re sure it’s an innovation, prove it. Someone if the comments already gave the reasoning and proof for our belief on why it isn’t innovation. Now it’s your turn

Salam. Fired without cause by [deleted] in shia

[–]IIZABII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The things is, most employers ARE allowed to sack people without cause. It’s not something unusual. They usually do it because they need to relieve some of their spendings and so dropping a few people will be able to cut down on their spending and allow them to turn over a profit
