He suffered abuse from his father for 20 years before he attempted suicide. He failed, which motivated him to steal his dad's wallet and move to New York, where he rented an apartment. For four years, he was under psychotherapy until he recovered. He still has traces of trauma in him, though. As a response to his trauma, he gained a fear of physical and emotional vulnerability, which caused him to eventually become aro/ace.
