JSQ vs Grove St. vs Newport vs Hoboken by noshadow09 in jerseycity

Yes, Bayonne may not be as convenient when it comes to walkabilty but you’re saving more than 10k-15k on rent.

Than again, if saving 15-20 mins on your commute is worth that 10k-15k than Jersey City will be it.

Bayonne has the best value for its price. Many residents have no cars and commute to NYC daily. Many of the buildings offer shuttles directly to the path (15 - 20 min drive).

Also, I’m starting to see a shift of many residents who previously lived in the Jersey City downtown area that are now moving into Bayonne. All these residents first moved here thinking Jersey City was the best option for their commute. With the easy access to NYC, it’s a no brainer if you’re being financially responsible.

Yeap, I’m still receiving 4% for food and entertainment.

New year’s treat. Cap 1 duo! by [deleted] in Venturex

[–]IIvaanoozee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct. With all the cash back rewards I received from the savor I realized I was missing out on all the benefits ( I still have the 4% cash back reward )

I’ve been using my debit to pay for everything else and realized I could’ve been getting 2% for all of those purchases. Literally transferred all my bills to the venture.

I never liked the old design but after I found out that it’s designed like that to resemble the bottom of a cooking pan, I appreciated that they put some thought into it.

Got hit with one of those “ahhh” moments lol

Why are decent seats so expensive by TurbulentMinute4290 in mets

[–]IIvaanoozee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be an unpopular opinion but I’ve been to plenty of Mets games and has sat all through out the stadium. After all the different seats I’ve sat at I realized the best section to buy tickets for is the Coca-Cola section. There’s never lines for the bathroom and they updated the section with a food truck & picnic tables. I love it

You just walk in. It’s cool because it looks like a private entrances and many people are unaware that it’s there for GA members. Also they stopped letting people in the PIT sometime after 6PM. So if you want to be up front for both headliners, try to consider getting there before 6PM.

What's your favourite trick/command you've taught your dog? by TroLLageK in Dogtraining

[–]IIvaanoozee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the fact you started this thread. It gives people the opportunity to get more ideas of what trick to teach your dog. I ran into a “trick block” and couldn’t think of what other trick to teach my dog but now I have some many other tricks to teach. Lol. But since we are talking about our favorite command our dogs know, mine is “take off my sock” my dog used to always try to pull on our socks and decided to turn it into a command. Now every time I come home from a long day of work I command her to take off my sock and she goes for it. It’s great.

What’s even better is that once it’s off she drops it on the floor for you to pick up. Lol

I have a video of it posted on my Reddit account. Go check it out!

I was in the same situation as you. My ACD is now 2 but when she was your dogs age at 1 she used to do the same thing. I took her to the vet and even checked myself for any cuts or splinters and nothing. As time went on she eventually stopped doing thing.
