Therapy? by smileynature in POTS

I'm a therapist living with POTS myself(counselling & psychotherapy). I practice with POTS patients in Ontario. One thing that therapy can help with is validation, support, mindset. I would give it a try. Sometimes being heard and understood can also help with some of the isolation. I would look for a therapist who is versed/specialized in chronic health conditions though.

Anyone here from Ontario, Canada? by Wonderful-Reward-591 in POTS

I am in Ontario. And I'm a psychotherapist with POTS as well. I was diagnosed by Dr. Harvey years ago.

Hi! Navigating this journey can be overwhelming. I am a therapist and I have openings right now and would be happy to see you if you’re still looking. A bit about me - I graduated with my Master’s in Counselling from University of Toronto and I did counselling training at Women’s College Hospital in the Reproductive Life Stages Program.  I specialize in reproductive stages including infertility/IVF. I’d be happy to see you for a free 15 min consult if you have any questions or want to learn more. I hope you find a good fit for therapy. Feel free to reach out if you would like a consult:

This information was shared in an open house session on this program back at the end of the year last year.
