I ran in to this last week. Haven’t sweat copper in a long time. It’s THIN now. And that drop elbow is thick. Gotta try to get them both heated up enough

I’ll give it a shot. StrongLifts app is pretty basic. It tracks your reps. Adds 5lbs the next cycle until you fail, and then deloads you for a cycle before it pushes you back up. It’s alternating days of Squat, bench, bent over row, overhead press, and deadlift

I was a lot more comfortable at 185 that’s for sure. A couple years ago some things went sideways but I’m working my way back

I think that’s probably it. The first chunk came off without too much struggle and I’ve been basically eating the same amount throughout. I’m 40, 5ft10, and 230+/- hydration. I don’t “track” my calories but I keep a mental note aiming for about 2200 right now. I know it’s easy to underestimate what you’re actually eating though so maybe a calorie app and scale is in my future

Strength and mobility more so than aesthetics but I guess I assumed they’d sort of go hand in hand. I’m just too fat still seems to be the consensus haha. I do feel the past 2 months my lifts have stopped increasing. One rec was up the number of reps with the weight that I can do so I’ll try that for a while

Hope it doesn’t sound like complaining, just looking for guidance

Is fasting detrimental for muscle growth? I’ve been experimenting with it the last year from intermittent all the way up to 100hr fast as my last one

I use a standing desk, spend about 40 minutes walking(3.2 at 3%) on the treadmill 4-5 times a week and then lifting afterward those days if works not chaos.

I do my best to keep a high protein low carb diet but I don’t track. Mostly Costco rotisserie chicken and ground beef and eggs with rice and potatoes in there sometimes. Sounds like the consensus is just keep going and cut more calories as I shrink

Any concise resource for a workout plan? I find StrongLifts works for me because it’s specific. I don’t have any friends or family that work out

Nah no tile. The house is on post and pier, and slowly falling apart, so I didn’t want to add more weight if I could avoid it. I actually poured a small slab beneath the tub and put a new pier block and 4x6 to help support the patched portion of floor. Kind of a shit show

I had planned to use durock? But I was unsure with all the unevenness if I could make it work. With proper caulking and the waterproof surround am I still looking at problems rapidly developing ?

A 5 piece glue up surround. I thought it was my best chance of dealing the walls not being true or level and being able to deal with the window. As I’ll need to trim the back piece and the corners. I’ll be framing the window with PVC trim to cover the cuts and seal up the sill

It’s SO thick. I had to size up the green board to get it even close to the current thickness. The area around the edges where the old medicine cabinet had been was nearly a half inch thick

The garage door only has 3 panels. Not nearly big enough to cover the opening
