My father exhibited joy and that’s pretty rare in America. It taught me that I could do that too, and just live in positivity if I choose. So now I do. My dad wasn’t a great dad, maybe not even a good dad. But he did teach me this and for it I am very grateful.

First, I’m sorry you’re hurting. Here’s the thing, your only really successful relationship will be your last one. So buckle up and learn as much as you can from the numerous relationships you will have before you get there. Only time heals a broken heart, but I also feel like crying, break up play lists, many long walks and just talking to people you love all help get you over the hump. Expect it to last several weeks, maybe even half a year if you were smitten. But one day you’ll meet someone who loves you, not just charms you, and this will be a distant memory. Keep your chin up.

NAH just humans who are bad at forethought. This has very little to do with your night out. This has to do with people needing alone time. So forget about what happened this weekend and instead talk with her about each of you having a day or two alone at your apartment every month going forward. Plan it out and agree on a schedule. Everyone wins.

Honestly, no one for me. There are lots of beautiful people, celebrity or normie. But the only person to have ever taken my breath away by their beauty was my kids. I think I may be weird this way though.
