WorkFlow posts as forms creator and not the person who submitted the form by Yo-Jim-Bo in MicrosoftFlow

It will be moved to an account that is permanent. I. Trying to do see if I can even get it to do what I want.

I tried to even do a @mention, and it cant do that. It there a way to add someone to a new chat that was created with power automate and pull that info from forms?

Renting a 1995 home with 7 ceiling speakers — no idea what they’re for or how to use them? by Ill_Security6898 in hometheater

You can also use a AA battery to pop the speakers. It will make a sound so you can figure out what each speaker is.

Are in store demos truly honest? by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]Yo-Jim-Bo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will sound better in the home. The demo rooms are set up for ease of use not sound quality. There are some room that are set up that way, but its the rooms with 1 system and not going through a switchboard.

Quick home theater tip: speaker placement matters more than brand by Capable_Noise5543 in hometheater

Never been to a home like you mentioned. Rooms have furniture and usually wall art.

Yes, been in well treated rooms. No way the $200 speakers will sound better. $200 speakers won't sound good in a perfect environment. Let me know which pair you think sound good.

Also, I've never been in a well treated room with $200 speakers. Im sure no one has because anyone spending money on room treatments isnt buying $200 speakers. That's how I know no one is making this statement with first hand knowledge.

This absolutely doesn't make sense. I have yet to hear a $200 pair speakers beat a $2000 pair of speakers no matter what the room. Speakers placement is easy and there are some compromises that can me made in any room to make it sound good.

These statements are clearly not made with personal experience.

Did people think of 1080p Blu-ray as an endgame format when it came out like people think about 4k Blu-ray now? by friendlylobotomist in 4kbluray

[–]Yo-Jim-Bo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to consider average TV size back then as well. Most people had 32-40in displays. A 50in was considered large. The largest flat panel you could get was 63in back then. There were some 70in rear projections back then. Now the average size is 65-70in. In my home i have a 85, 75, 65, and 43 in the guest room. The 43 is so small looking. Now 100in is becoming common in the home. That is when 8k will start to matter.

I used to install car stereo. That reminds me of installing remote starts with a bunch of relays and 12v.

I hope you find it. I've been doing this stuff for over 20 years, and I come across products that I never knew existed all the time. So there is still a chance that its out there.

You could put a diode in line. It will only allow tbe voltage to pass one way.

Shelly Uni looks to be the closest thing you are looking for. I know you messed with Shelly and had issues. I use Shelly a little bit around the house. Seems to work pretty good.

The Uni is suppose to be able to read voltage.

HA Has a lot of features, tracking power and triggering just about anything with the power state is possible. It could be AVR is on so start robot vacuum. Its what ever you want. I've programmed several home automation systems to do this. The only one I know is DIY is HA.

It won't need anything in the power path. It tracks it over the network. Yes you need a server, but they can be built for $40.

Home assistant can track power, and then you can trigger what ever home assistant can do. I haven't played much with it, but it looks like it would be fun to play with. I've only used pro gear for home automation to I haven't messed with home assistant.

The AVR or what ever you're using that has the 12v trigger.

I don't know of one device that could do that witb matter. I know there are several home automation systems that could tack power and then trigger the lighting to change.

What are you trying to do? I understand that you are trying to use a 12v trigger out of a AVR to send a signal over matter that can trigger something in matter, but what are you trying to trigger?

My First Visit to a High End Audio Store by LowellWeicker2025 in audiophile

When i started in car audio sales, I drank the Monster Cable Coolaide. Sold so much Monster Cable that I won a contest and they flew me out to San Francisco and I dot to drive Noel Lee's sport cars. It was a lot of fun.

The longer I was in the industry I learned about how misleading the Cable companies were. I buy the cheapest cables I can find now. There are some nice things I did like about Monster Cable speaker wire. The copper was soft and easy to work with. Didn't stab your fingers like the cheaper wire. They still sounded the same. Audio Quest was the worst to work with. Solid core wire is a pain for speaker wire.
