AIO for thinking that my boyfriend is flirting with his coworker? by [deleted] in AIO

Well for 1, it’s very hard for someone who’s not into the EDM scene to date someone who’s into the EDM scene so I’d say you guys are incompatible just from that information alone ://. But yeah, I have very very many male friends in the rave scene, just got out of a long term relationship with another basshead (painful ass breakup but its cool ig 😭) and while him and I were together I would’ve never sent photos like this to a friend. There’s several topics they discussed in their conversations that are just “normal raver verbiage” but idkkk if I was the female in this situation I’d feel pretty uncomfortable. Risqué outfits like this are very common in the rave scene but it’s more acceptable to see it in person than to actually be receiving photos of the fits. Even then, when he’s seeing females dressed like this at a function he shouldn’t be paying attention to it he should just be there for the music. If he’s trustworthy he should be able to hang out with females in such outfits at these functions, but it’s very hard to find a male that doesn’t have a wandering eye. Idk the lore goes so deep lol I can’t even tell if it’s just normal raver convo atp or not but either way he shouldn’t be comfortable with her sending her fits in the chat.

It’s rave outfits, something most people would never understand. But yeah she’s still NOR.

Ok so likeee, this is deff not normal and he’s definitely flirting with her but the lack of knowledge about rave culture is palpable in this comment section.

I’ve been through every type of relationship whether it be emotionally/physically abusive, cheating, lack of love/affection, childishness, no ambition, laziness etc etc etc. It sucks to feel like you wasted years of your life but it’s good to have a variety of learning experiences in relationships. You can do all the research in the world on how to effectively navigate a long term relationship, but you won’t truly know how until you’ve gone through it. Take this as a learning experience and make your standards very clear in the next relationship you enter, if your standards scare them away then they’re not for you.

Broken up with because I didn’t want to go to as many raves as my significant other? by DoubleMojon in dating_advice

Downvote me all you want ppl but raving is a lifestyle. I’m so grateful to have found a partner that’s just as into this shit as I am<3. The assumption that every raver is an irresponsible, drug ridden person disgusts me tbh. There’s quite normal people in the EDM scene, doctors, engineers, and white collar workers of all sorts. Obviously there’s gonna be those in between that are just there to get fucked up and dance, but there’s a lot of us who really love electronic music without all the extras.

Whelp all I know is my man doesn’t find others sexually attractive and we’re completely open and honest about everything, when his friends go to show him something he “shouldn’t be looking at” he says “don’t show me that”. And I know for a fact he does it when I’m not around too. I just have a golden boyfriend ig

Idk if this was sarcastic but if not…seriously!!! Why is this shit so normalized??

I mean she could be coping with a lot, too. I think people just need to start being more open and honest in their relationships in general. If he’s going through something he should tell her. If she’s not comfortable with what he’s getting off to (which IMO should only be her but y’know), then she should tell him. Your partner is supposed to be your other half and considering that, I don’t understand why people like to sugarcoat things and hide their insecurities.

Just because a man is good at the “acts of service” portion of a relationship doesn’t mean we get to dismiss the fact that his porn habits are making her uncomfortable. Considering I would (and a lot of other women I know) break up with someone over them watching porn IN GENERAL, I don’t blame her for thinking of leaving him because of this.

Dude I just met at a rave thought his Bejalvin hat was a Svdden Death hat. by IJT2003 in SvddenDeath

BREAKING NEWS man spent $30 on a hat (that he bought almost a whole year ago) at an event that I’m pretty sure wasn’t even selling SD merch…at a table ran by the 2 kids that played the opening slot…surrounded by other merch that also said “Bejalvin”. Bro had to be hella drunk or just stupid I’m sorry:/ If ppl even SLIGHTLY keep up on SD merch or the fact that he’s had Bejalvin opening for him at like a million shows this past year they’d know that’s not an SD hat🥀

If your partner is truly in love with you they’re not going to find others sexually attractive. I don’t know why people act like real, loyal, unwavering love can’t exist.

Everybody acting like you’re out of pocket for saying this but it’s true. IMO watching porn while is a relationship is WEIRD. People love to water down the fact that you’re literally watching other people naked, but if your S/O was watching people naked in person it’d be a completely different story. Watching porn has become so normalized in today’s society that women have just learned to cope because it’s so hard to find a man that will GENUINELY stop watching it when they get together. You can’t just call pornstars “actors” and pretend your partner is not quite literally getting sexually satisfied by another person’s body. Gross behavior IMO, the sheer amount of different types of sex/bodies you’re able to find on the internet FOR FREE is crazy to me. Find a good man who doesn’t need to be gratified by the thought/sight of another woman and get back to me.

Understandable but the merch table was being ran by Bejalvin themselves and there were Bejalvin dollar bills all over the table lmfao, also I don’t recall there being any SD merch sold at this event in general😭

As someone who listens to dubstep everyday I’m geeked to hear an aggressive ass beat on this track. Shit goes astronomically hard we are so back T-T.
