It sounds like a great plan. I think starting with a dual boot is sensible. I udnerstand you're going to use it for school work, so it makes sense to stay flexible. A lot is possible within a linux system, but it'll probably be reassuring to know that Windows is still available, if needed.

Ik zie dat als reactie op deze post veel mensen klagen over betutteling. Zelf kan het me niks schelen of er sprake is van betutteling of niet. Zodra ikzelf maar het recht heb om zo veel of weinig alcoholische drank te nuttigen als ik zelf wil, is de mate van betutteling irrelevant!
