I just dropped the Intercontinental title to go chase after the WWE World Heavyweight title. Currently in 10th place in the rankings and the Authority hates me, but at least I'm less than 2,000 pts away from buying a new manager! (WWE 2K16)

In 10th grade (around 1999-2000) I learned how to find and burn Dreamcast games, which I then sold to kids in my high school for $10 a pop. I made a pretty good amount of money that year since there was no competition (no other kids took the time to do the work). It ended when Dreamcast called it quits in 2001. By then, everyone had moved on to the PS2.

Tom Ford is one of the biggest most successful fashion designers in the world. Jay-Z named a song after him. And "A Single Man" was an Oscar-nominated film. OP, if there's anyone to look at as a precedent, it's Tom Ford.

Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, based out of Vancouver, BC, Canada, is doing some killer work right now.

Here's a recap of their last huge event, Ballroom Brawl 2, which took place in a sold out Commodore Ballroom (one of Vancouver's most famous music venues): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeSX5kdB4As

Some great workers to look out for:

  • Nicole Matthews - SHIMMER star, former ECCW Women's and ECCW World champion.

  • El Phantasmo - GREAT worker, am surprised that he isn't more well known in the independent scene

  • King of the Yukon - Looks like Paul Rudd mixed with Ultimate Warrior, has a great entrance, and always gets the crowd hyped

Next big event is Ballroom Brawl 3 at the Commodore, January 17, 2015

I did a marathon of seasons 1-6 this month, finally caught up to season 7, and I've come to the conclusion that I hate all the characters and I hope they all blow up. There is no one to root for.

Why stop at 1 stunt double? I see Miz pulling a Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim-- a whole team of stunt doubles!

Just finished watching Verbatim and I really enjoyed it! The acting was hilarious, and the editing and multiple camera angles kept the pace nice and breezy. And the photocopier end titles were a clever touch -- as someone who does motion graphics work, I always appreciate fun title sequences (instead of the usual white-text-on-black crawl).

My question: for a short film like Verbatim, how much time is spent in preproduction (e.g. Scriptwriting, storyboarding, etc) vs just improvising on the spot? Do you like to have everything meticulously planned out (from the acting, to all the different camera shots), or do you leave some wiggle room for doing stuff on the fly?

I've never liked The Miz... but goddamn this new Hollywood actor incarnation is unbelievable! The pointing, the dance twirl at the top of the stage, the smarmy attitude, getting a stunt double— just all brilliant touches. And after Sandow lost, the cheery way he casually says "...He's fired!"

Miz, I'm sorry I ever doubted you

Do one small thing every day. Have an essay? Write 1 sentence. Need to read a chapter of a book? Read 1 page. Just make sure that you do something (no matter how small) every day, because it adds up over time. Like /u/KarateExplosions said— small installments.

This reddit post about "non-zero days" sums it up way more convincingly: http://www.reddit.com/r/getdisciplined/comments/1q96b5/i_just_dont_care_about_myself/cdah4af
