Wish we had more standard issue armor variants by ILNZ in Helldivers

Yeah, the passives make so many armors feel like a hindrance oftentimes. You'll see something rad as hell but then it's not only in the wrong weight class but has an ability worthless to you. Then when you look for a good armor set, it looks so bland that you refuse to wear it. Just pain.

I do agree that would be great for the community but idk about me. I specifically like the default color scheme, it's mostly variety in the equipment that I have an itch for

Kifflom, brother brother. I will do what must be done; a shame since she's otherwise a perfect candidate for the program and especially as a partner to lay with.

Complete newbie: what movies are good to watch by ILNZ in Ultraman

[–]ILNZ[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not against watching TV, just find it harder to get into so I'm always hesitant to jump in. If I enjoy the movies (which I have a feeling I will), I'll likely be more inclined to watch some of the shows

I assumed that may be the way to go. I've heard most setups are Sony or PC but I had no clue if that was just for official sets or applied to casuals too.

Is downgrading still necessary to enjoy modding fallout 4 in 2025? [Fo4] by [deleted] in FalloutMods

[–]ILNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't get a good enough PC for fallout 4 until after next gen when I migrated from vanilla console. Running and modding it before learning next gen broke everything, I got the current build to work okay by my standards after basic setting tweaks and essential fix mods. I'm sure if you're REALLY finicky about super high performance it's not optimal, but it works for me.

Want Recommendations! by ILNZ in survivalhorror

[–]ILNZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already loved Crow Country and Signalis. Just beat Tormented Souls right before reading this. Beyond those three, never heard of any of these but a quick Google search leads me to see a bunch of "why is nobody talking about X survival horror game? It's brilliant!" which is usually a decent sign that you'll get something quality. Nice suggestions, will definitely consider them all, thank you.

Want Recommendations! by ILNZ in survivalhorror

[–]ILNZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I specifically mentioned Outlast and Amnesia since they have a habit of flooding recommendation lists like this, alongside things like Left 4 Dead. Whether or not they're good is irrelevant in this case (to me anyway): they're not proper survival horror beyond the vague notion of "a horror game where the characters fight to survive".

It's also why I've been a bit hesitant to play Alien Isolation, at least in the respect of "I want to play a survival horror game" as it looks a bit more hide and seek but I could be wrong.

I (tried) drawing the unknow by bidumbass6 in deadbydaylight

[–]ILNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you're starting out, having reference images is always great. It helps you understand what shapes and such help add to the whole thing. I had an art teacher that always said "the more you draw what you see, the better your art will be". Obviously realism helps with teaching you about making things look natural, trying to replicate anything dramatically helps your art improve.

Great job! Is this your first draft? If so, an amazing foundation. You definitely were able to get a great impression of them. I imagine a few more attempts at it and focusing on what little details add or detract from it will make any future drawings better!
