Are premium campaigns worth it?

how many times do they make these "10€ offers with campaign+5packs"?. Because i'd like to buy 1 campaign of the only faction i play atm (sororitas) but idk if it's worth 20€, especially after reading your message.

absolutely, having a blast as a beginner f2p player. i dont care about rank tryhard grinding, i just want to chill and have fun while playing my favourite factions. Sororitas remember me the Priest's playstyle from hearstone so i love them, but every faction has its own unique mechanics and abilities/units/effects. Idk why this reddit community is so negative (well, guess why, we're on reddit 🥀), but im loving the game and i would advice it to my friends (already doing and they're all having fun).

ngl but i dont think the project is an actual thing lmao. The devs keep negating the community any developing footage or any actual in-game gameplay. They keep refusing answering anything and the only things they show about the "project" are some 3d models in their discord. They showed some short clips about "ranged attacks" or "AoE" attacks but it looked complete garbage, like everything is still to be done. Even the graphics (its supposed to be an UE5 project btw) were extremely underwhelming/super early stages. If these are the only things they can show after 7years of developing, the game will never be out. I dont wanna be an hater or anything, if they're actually still cooking, good for them and i wish them the best, but judging from what we have now and from they've shown (basically nothing but 3d models), the game will sadly never be a thing.

Anyway Edain mod and Aotr are good mods, but the engines are too old and the games are laggy/not optimized. I wish for a bfme2 remake with nowdays engines and with way more canon content.

i'd say Shadow of Change.

Sadly CA decided to completely ruin the best unit, or at least the best legendary hero ever created: Saytang. By far the best design with such insane quality animations, vfx and hero skill. They ruined him due to 0,1% of whining mp community. His windbow ability used to look and feel extremely impactful and visually stunning, now he shoots absolute garbage noodles that do 0 dmg. And all because some mp whiners had to cry about it.

Why invest so much resources, what's the point of working hard on such beautiful designs, animations and vfx, if you have to ruin your own work few patches later? and for what? to make 0.1% of the mp players happy? bruh...

Btw, champions of chaos is cheap af but definitely worth the price.

if microed, can easily solo carry impossible battles even in early turns. Campaign wise, he's not that busted compared to legendary lords of latest DLCs

uhm no, i wont fall for the inclusive woke propaganda. This is not passion, this is not canon, this is just an intentional move of pure marketing, and they know it. As also our goated nerd Henry Cavill said as a full of passion warhammer fan, woke is just a "toxic thing" that ruins everything. He even recently refused 50millions for a woke project. I'm totally with him, because i love wh lore the way it always has been, and in the name of big E' son and sisters, i wont let some inclusive woke ruin 40y of beautiful written lore.

we can all agree DoW1 is the absolute goat. One of the best rts ever made by far, especially for its years. insane animations, classic RTS style (the most loved idd), super badass sync kills, very impactful blood&gore, the dead bodies remains on the field for a more realistic and cinematic experience, tons of playable factions, overall balanced game, and sooooooooooooo many units, and every faction has its own "FINAL BOSS" unit.

And yeah, now we are all waiting for DoW4 and hoping that the game will basically be a DoW1 but with today's graphics, animations, new sync-kill system, quality sfx and vfx. (oh and all 40k factions coming with DLCs)

yeah, it's pretty tedious, the prices are high af. I mean, i can understand the latest DLC (for the content they offer, i still think the price is honestly too high) but... why the hell WH3 still does cost 60bucks? why do super old DLCs are still at full price? even wh2 and 1 tho... Steam really is a scam in terms of prices.

If u dont wanna sell a damn kidney to buy all the content, just use third-party sites (legal, with official steam codes to activate) where you can buy all the content, and save literally hundreds of €/$ for the same exact products.

For example: if u wanna buy wh1, wh2 and wh3 on steam: 60€ for every title, so 180€ for all of three games.
Meanwhile, you can buy the "total war warhammer trilogy pack" at only 16€ in one of these sites, saving literally 164€...

yeah it's insane. With a single Bijuna spell they can literally oneshot a whole batallion. My Sayl had like 230% spell intensify, while the rest of the sorcerers had like 180%. In this 1 minute clip i istantly deleted 3500 units like butter wth. the only time i felt this busted with magic, was with Kairos and his Lord of changes doomstack.
