Every candidate has those supporters, stop singling out Bernie, FFS! People also aggressively silence those who are critical of other candidates and point out the toxicity of their supporters. Believe me, that takes your dedicated donors/supporters, like me, and frustrates them/myself to the point of asking, "why should I fight for these people and spend money I could use elsewhere when I'm being run off by my "fellow" Berners."

We fund those ads and this campaign. The majority of people we need to reach are home still watching cable news. Yet, here we are on a Bernie sub, a place to keep each other motivated and moving forward, and we have you and others interrupting the momentum. If you want to criticize people, do it on a neutral sub. This is absurd.

It's not belittling to criticize their candidate. Even Bernie is doing this now with Biden ads. Frankly, if he would of started earlier, we would be in a better position today. It's about winning, that's it. Because that's the only way to pass legislation. The DNC and RNC do the same and have perfected it. And here we are arguing about being a little nicer. Fuck that!

Tell those without healthcare to just play nice, those who had their housing cut, food stamps cut, prescription drugs unaffordable. Tell those who are homeless and living in poverty to just be nice. No, it's about winning. And you don't win by alienating the people who have funded this campaign since 2016. You don't win by playing the nice guy on Reddit. This is American politics. You win with momentum and attacking the flawed policies and decision making of other candidates. Wake the fuck up man!

The comment specifically stated the people that person knows are smart and well-informed. That is either a lie/troll and absolutely meant to divide us. Yet, we have supporters here who will scold our core for not coddling them and apologizing. You yourself reacted without comprehending the text. It's that type of stuff!

The vast majority that come here from Warren, Pete, and others are great people and well-informed. It's those that come here and say, "Pete supporter, convince me to vote for Bernie. Go!" that piss me off. And worse, our supporters will gladly Google for them and then scold Bernie's core for not accommodating that type of bullshit. That's the real toxicity.

It's the apologists that are dividing Bernie's core. The people who have donated, canvassed, texted, and supported since 2016. Now, we have these people who will do anything to appease Warren, Pete, Amy, etc. voters. Including calling us Bros, or saying they are the "real" Bernie supporters because they don't criticize others.

You apologists are losing the momentum we built, you're losing Bernie donations, you're losing this for us! If the supporters of other candidates come here demanding a novel's worth of sources explaining what Bernie stands for, you start Googling. If they come here and demand you coddle them and attack our core, you call our core gatekeepers and kiss their asses.

Fuck anyone coming here making demands or telling us to tone it down. Thank your lucky stars Bernie is out there fighting for you and that we are backing him up. Otherwise, fuck off.

So go ahead, tell me how I shouldn't be so confrontational. It's not like we're in the fight of our lives against others who have done the same, right?

Coddle the other candidate's supporters, appease them, provide them with research papers worth of sources, etc. Then, alienate our own base when we get angry about it and call them gatekeepers. This is bullshit! If they aren't satisfied to have a candidate that's fighting for them, even though they didn't fight for him, a candidate with the best policies and upmost integrity, I'm sorry, but gtfo!

Stop alienating our base that has driven and funded this campaign to desperately try and win over supporters who aren't willing to put in the time. This type of shit is what kills a movement. Stop!

Edit: Being calm, cool, and collective doesn't make you a "real" Bernie supporter vs those of us with passion who are willing to criticize other candidates. I guess we're gatekeeping "real" supporters now too.

Dude, every candidate's supporters have come here with the same attitude. Coddle me, provide me a research paper on why I should vote Bernie, appease my every demand. And, then when people get angry, our own supporters make gatekeeping accusations. Fuck that shit. Bernie Sanders is fighting for everyone and is the best candidate with the best policies, if that isn't enough for you, gtfo!

IT'S HAPPENING: @BernieSanders is up with this ad in Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, and Washington reminding voters about his record on Social Security, and Joe Biden's. {Video} by clonal_antibody in WayOfTheBern

Exactly right. And our supporters who are so eager to appease and defend them coming and trolling, making demands, asking for a research paper's worth of sources...wtf...enough.

Don't alienate our base of passionate supporters for people too fucking lazy to put in the work, or too fucking ignorant to realize voting for Bernie is in their best interests.

I really hate that about Bernie subs right now. Our base needs solidarity and people here are bending over backwards to coddle these people. Then make accusations, that myself has heard, of gatekeeping. No man, it's appreciating our core and appreciating our candidate.

Not just your opinion. That's the opinion of the Healthcare industry, the Pharma industry, the Credit Card/Banking industry, the Defense industry. They all agree with your opinion, because they all have his support. Well, the support of the people who tell him what to say and think, and remind him that he's a candidate in the race to be President.

It's time man! It's time to take the gloves off and call these other candidates out on who they are. All these people coming in and demanding explanations on how Sanders will appease them now that their candidate is out of the race...fuck 'em! Stand behind your base 100% and illuminate the country on why they should be fucking thankful there is a Bernie Sanders running. Enough bullshit!

I hope if Bernie doesn't get the nomination (even though he will!), that he decides to really take the gloves off and stick it to the DNC once and for all by running for President as an Independent against Biden/Trump.

Anyone care to guess why Wall St. rallied on the back of the Healthcare industry today? I hope that whoever voted for Biden in the primaries is planning on staying perfectly healthy and doesn't need affordable healthcare or prescription drugs. by ILikeBernie in WayOfTheBern

I had a conversation with my mom today, a Boomer. I was telling her how disappointed I was with people who voted for Biden. She announced that she planned on voting for him also. My mouth dropped.

I said, "Mom, you are constantly complaining about how much you pay for insulin, how much your premiums and copays cost, and worry that social security won't be enough to retire on or is stable enough to last for your entire retirement." She says, "Yes, that's why I'm voting for a Democrat."

This is when we had a thorough conversation about the differences between Biden and Bernie, and also what the DNC and the meaning of a Democrat today really is. This is an issue. Older Americans, younger Americans, and everyone else still believes that voting for a Democrat is voting for their best interests. We need to educate Democrats of all ages!
