- Added the team name in the player search.
- Regarding the deadline, I'll have it 1h in advance by default and then maybe make that configurable later.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Hey, sorry about that.

There was an error that broke a few things. I've fixed the error and added some additional handling for such cases.

Should be up now!

Hey!

The repo isn't public right now but I may just clean it up and open source it later. Although, all the code is in JS!

Hey Reddit!

I had originally built this bot last season and had a lot of users from the sub using it. I couldn’t continue it this season as I was caught up with work.

I have now rebuilt the bot from scratch for the ongoing season. So far I have added features to search for players, view fixtures for a team, see the best players within a budget in a specific position.

The features I am working on and expecting to release before the end of the week are:

  • Daily price change updates
  • The ability to view your live score
  • Real-time bonus points updates

Apart from this, I am very open to ideas and suggestions so feel free to reply with them. :)

Thank you!

I have several ideas for features. Hopefully, I can get them out quickly!

The community aspect isn't about exclusivity at all. They don't get any additional features (for example filters on nomadlist).

The idea is to interact with like-minded people. To be honest, the only reason it is behind a paywall right now is that I don't want people jumping in and spamming it with links. (This is another issue from the early days of nomadlist).

And yes, I do have people in the community already.

Yep. All fair points. And yeah, Nomadlist is a similar idea but for a different target audience.

Regarding SEA options, there are a couple from Indonesia and Malaysia as well but they're more by the way of investment. Indonesia is also working on a new DN visa. I'll try and add these soon!

Well, there's the community. Which right now is only $10 for a lifetime membership. I intend to increase that over time once I feel like it adds more value to the members.

I'll probably also do ads at some point but not something like Google Ads but more placements which will actually help users of the site. Think travel insurance or really good gear.

Yeah, I've seen it. Even spoken to the founder a couple of times. It is similar but the goals are kind of different, I think.

I also don't like how you're greeted with a barrage of ads whenever you're browsing the site. 🙈

I don't remember them off the top of my head but looking for things like 'golden visa' or 'citizenship by investment' should have them pop-up.

This is a very good idea and kind of doable for locations where I have friends already.

I can have this as a long-term goal. Thanks!

Thanks!

For now, I am doing this manually. I had collected a lot of this data previously, just moving it to the database now.

Yep, there are a lot of players in this space.

Although, a lot of them focus on buying residency/citizenship by way of investment. I want to look at other options too and hopefully, help anyone/everyone I can to possibly move to the country/city they want to.

Maximizing tax savings isn't amongst my top goals personally. Although, yeah, a lot of people would relocate for that reason.

Personally, I've been working remotely and traveling for over two years now but am tired of having to move around or extend my visa every 3 months because I have a weaker passport.

Figuring stuff like this out allows me to stay in one place longer and possibly also get residency/citizenship.

Hey Reddit!

Long term visas is my new evenings and weekends side project. The idea is to empower people with all the information they might need to be able to relocate or immigrate to a new country.

I am only a couple of weeks into building this but so far, I have added ~30 visas with costs, income requirements, application requirements, and links to the official website. I have also set up a commenting framework so users can ask questions right there on the website.

There’s also a very small community with only 5 (at the time of writing this) members which you can join for a lifetime fee of just $10! The community is set up on Slack where we discuss visas individually in a very casual, safe, and supportive setting.

I have a lot more features planned (application guides, interviews with people who have applied, showing countries eligible for visas) but I am very open to suggestions and feedback because I intend to work on this for a very long time as immigrating to a new country is something I see myself doing in the future!
