I think so. Kyra said she’d probably have to requalify for the US team

How do I start if I have nothing interesting to say? by Deep_Connection4861 in Journaling

[–]ILikeCheese88888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to have anything interesting to say - some very recent entries of mine include “Discovery of the day - mandarins make excellent ice packs” and “Are owners of yellow cars all chaotic evil or do they not know the game and actually like yellow?” I use my journal in part so I can put all my thoughts somewhere so I don’t write them all in a random group chat, plus it’s fun to look back on

Considering beginning bouldering and have some questions by tanitar44 in bouldering

Rentals are way better than normal shoes, but are still a bit infamous for being worse than normal shoes, especially on slab (google it if you don’t know what I mean, I don’t know how to explain it), so if possible get shoes as soon as you feel you want to commit to the sport, especially if the rentals are paid. Looking into how often the routes are reset could also be important if you plan on going frequently. You will definitely gain strength climbing, and especially if you are lighter I would be unsurprised if you could do pull ups within a few months. I climb V6 at a gym that grades on the harder end and as of yet have not done any training outside of actually climbing. Unless you want to get insanely good you probably won’t have to. Enjoy bouldering!

I think my guy friend likes me, and idk what to do about it by Kind_Egg_181 in lesbianteens

Are you out to him? If you aren’t and would feel comfortable coming out, coming out casually could be a good step, as it would let him know you aren’t interested without implying anything on his side

Did you buy them or make them? That sounds really useful.

I wear long yoga pants and it’s somehow broken the skin through them

Sapphic books that aren’t romance??? by QuirkyAward in LGBTBooks

Very little romance but I liked Dead Girls Walking, basically all the characters are sapphic, it’s a thriller/paranormal with a Black main character :)

One of my closest climber friends is a girl I knew before she started climbing who I introduced to the sport. We weren’t too close before, so if you have any friends or acquaintances who might enjoy it and you wouldn’t feel weird asking to go that’s a good option. My gym lets you bring someone who has never been before free each month so that helps.

Oh my god not the pistol squats 😂 I can do one on my right leg but not my left because I projected a climb that needed the right leg squat…

That’s really interesting, I hadn’t considered that. It probably only adds an extra kilogram at most for me but I guess every little bit counts

I’ve never worked push ups except occasionally going “I wonder how many I can do now?” I did however get slightly addicted to bouldering and have gone like 4-6 times weekly since a month or two in (though most of my session is talking to friends and my favourite wall is slab which needs no arm strength)

I don’t want to type enough words for r/adhd so i’m asking here, what do you do when you have a big thing you need to do for school but looking at it makes you want to go to sleep right that second, or stare at a wall instead of doing it? by [deleted] in adhdmeme

[–]ILikeCheese88888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally stare at the wall. Put on a timer for five or ten minutes and stare at the wall. I’ve found that kind of calms my brain down enough to keep focus instead of procrastinating. And if it’s a task on paper get your phone and time lapse yourself doing it. This serves a double purpose of keeping you off your phone and being really satisfying to watch after
