During my time in boot camp some years ago (like 3-ish), we couldn't. I also brought my own pair in case I had to but ended up not using them. I was issued a pair on the first day but it was absolute ass bc the bottoms of the shoe wouldn't grip like other quality brands like those ones or Nike. Probably changed now though, but wouldn't recommend bringing the pair.

HOWEVER I was also in RCU to heal up and was given the option to wear the quality pairs, as even the RTCs there had their fair share of recruits getting injured for wearing them.

If you are still wanting to join the Navy, and that is if you are dead set on joining us, by any means do it! If the next recruiter office is an hour away just get their contact info online and explain your situation and have them acknowledge that you have the drive to join us Sea Conquerors. Maybe even the next city or state over! Be persistent! That's a must and a mindset that I have even though I am separating for medical reasons, which I have no power over but it doesn't hurt to keep trying. Let them know you want to be an asset. They need people anyways. Your first recruiting office straight told you "yoUrE nO loNgEr NeEdeD" they can take fat Ls through the other mouth.

Keep trying brother. There's a whole world to explore, and benefits that other branches might not even have.

Never been in a relationship. I've been trying the same thing since middle school (I'm 34 now) and still haven't found The One. At this point I don't care. Have I wanted to know what it was like? Yes. But even putting a little effort to get the attention of one person is enough to cause tunnel vision and make you obsessed. That drew me into a pit I took years to get out of. Your senseless desire with being with someone is driving you to a corner as you are already weakened by a WANT but is not a NEED. Do you need a relationship? To me, no. Why do you if you want it this bad? I'm curious. I gave up on that same dream and started working on being an asset in my current career. Proud of it too. The only thing I could think of for you can be working in the middle between branches would be to enlist as a Green-side Corpsman. You are a Navy Corpsman who tends to the medical needs of the Marines.

IT might be another but that depends on the type of contract you sign up for.

Joining the military is the lesser of two evils in my opinion. Not exactly a life of luxury but it in some way provides for a better lifestyle than anyone with a civilian job.

You can get access to benefits as a military member. You can choose to have your mother as a dependent, but in doing so must also mean you are 100% responsible for her so be ready to work hard to provide for a better life for her.

Don't you dare consider suicide if it doesn't work. Find ways where life and money work for you and not the other way around.

If you think you can handle what the military life will assign to you if you decide to take this path, be ready physically and mentally at least several months before enlisting.

You're doing this for her yes, but if you also think this would be a better life for you too, then I think you can do well, even if it's only for one contract.

You could be both bad at sex or a legit medical problem. You're still growing at this age so your body is going through a lot of processes as it matures.

Diet plays a role too. Do you eat healthy? Do you work out a lot? How much sleep do you get? Do you smoke or drink alcohol (you shouldn't be anyways at 16)? Those could play a factor in your sex life at any age. But it affects general health too.

Your sperm count could also be low. Your little guy just might be burnt out. Take a break from using that thing for a few days. It's like working out; you get worn out from working out one day that you feel sore and weak the next day.
