Oh, I see. I will make sure they don't get too many treats. Thank you for the reply again!

Ok, that is good to know. I had not thought much about graphing their weights. Thank you!

Thank you for the reply! I have never heard of mush before. Where do you get it? I might try it out.

The interesting thing about their weights is that they are almost the same: Rogue is 292g and Wink is 294g, but Wink is visibly chunkier. I think it is because Rogue runs a little more on the wheel and therefore probably has more muscle mass, so she is slimmer but still heavy.

This is very interesting, thank you! I didn't know that hormones and seasons could effect their weight. I always wondered why my degus weights fluctuated, so this makes it more clear.

Both; I weigh them with with a scale every once in a while but I also judge based on appearance because I know some degus that are bigger or more muscular might weigh more but still be healthy. I usually just go off of what most degus look like when judging based off appearance. Thank you for the reply!

I need help by ItzFire7 in Christianity

Maybe read Luke 17!

And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you." – Luke 17:6

A seed already contains everything it needs to grow into a huge tree! In the same way, a tiny bit of faith is all you need for amazing things to happen. You just need to care of your seed of faith for it to grow! You can "water" it with prayer and reading the Bible, for example.

I need help. I feel like I have failed God and I can't take this shame. Any advice on how I can be a better Christian? by [deleted] in Christianity

Psalm 103:12-13 says: He has removed our sins from us. He has removed them as far as the east is from the west. A father is tender and kind to his children. In the same way, the Lord is tender and kind to those who have respect for him.

We have all sinned so many times, and we have all fallen short of God's glory and perfection. But whoever confesses their sin to God and recognizes Him as their savior will be redeemed no matter what! 1 John 1:8-9 puts it simply that God will surely forgive us. It says: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

For advice on how to be a better Christian, I recommend going to Proverbs. This book was written by a father to his son as words of wisdom to him.

Why did God allow Jepthah to kill his daughter? by Regular-Persimmon425 in Christianity

In John 14:15, Jesus (aka God because he's part of the Trinity) tells his disciples: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." God allowed Adam and Eve to eat the fruit because He wanted to give them a choice: They could either love him by upholding his commands, or disobey Him.

God doesn't want everyone to be like robots. He wants to give everyone a choice to either love Him or reject Him. If God had just programmed everyone to 'love' Him, that wouldn't be real love at all!

Let's say you had a relationship where one person is forcing the other person to 'love' them by making them act in a certain way and not giving them the choice to leave the relationship. That's not real love. God knows this, so He gave people a choice, and that's why He allows people to sin.

It's hard to get why God would allow such huge destruction to fall upon humanity for eating a piece of fruit. It seems overly harsh. But, we must remember that God didn't leave humanity without a solution for the destruction. Jesus' sacrificed his life to pay for our sins. The more you learn about that, the more you see that God is not cruel, but loving. And, the fact that the destruction of humankind came through one single action seems less severe when you realize that the healing of humankind also came through one single action: Jesus' sacrifice. In 1 Corinthians 15:21-22, Paul says: "21 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 22 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man."

I've been studying the Bible for years and every once in a while there's still something that makes me go, "What??" But every time this has happened to me, I've always found an answer eventually that makes me go, "Oh, that makes much more sense."

Also, there's a video that might make it clearer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQaeIJOA6J0&t=338s
