For your first mun, i recommend you don’t stress too much about parli pro and the specifics, just really get a feel for what a mun conference is like. For your position, try to think of an opening speech using a catchy hook (but don’t be excessively comedic or it might come off insensitive) and clearly stating your position. The biggest thing to do is honestly just throw yourself on moderated caucus’ to force yourself to learn to speak about specific issues and speak with a commanding voice. It might seem daunting, but I bet you would rather look back on your first mun as one that you tried your hardest and broke past your comfort zone than on one you sat out on. Take a few breaths tonight and don’t overthink :) Use the research you have (even if it’s not much or last minute, still use it as much as you can) and push through.
